I have read the novel myself I would say it's more like an OE imo & the novel is way too short it's very disappointing how they ended it I really wish they could've added so much more by finishing like they were supposed to, as for the writers they will change the script due to censorship the thing is we don't know if this drama will actually have a HE/BE/OE.
