That depends on Ding Yuxi himself whenever he reads a script w/ any genre that makes him connect to a character he likes, he will play that role regardless it's something we fans have no control over we can only respect his choices as for whether ppl would watch him or not it's up to them honestly idc what genre he will be in as long as he is on screen I never had any problem w/ it
