I dont think the show needed to show the friends in the present maybe yijin. But if we being honest yijin chose to become a correspondent in NYC before he broke up with heedo. Dont you think by him making that choice it solidify the fact the fact there weren't getting back together. Thats enough justification to not be together imo.

I think so of yall can't comprehend that not every kdrama has to have a happy ending but a realistic one. Yall thought heedo and yinjin would get back together after how much they drifted apart i actually applaud the writers for depicting a healthy and lovely relationship fall apart cause of circumstances and not unnecessary bs. Yall need to let go of that romcom mindset cause that was a beautiful way to end the show

Akk snd Saifah are the best characters in this show. Akk's personality carried the relationship and chemistry between him snf theo. Saifah was more charming and chilled to the point he made such a huge impact with such little screen time.
