That hitman at the end of episode 6 is quite possibly the worst hitman in the history of hitmen.

This is a pleasant and easy to watch romcom, high on the fluff and low on the angst, which is what I look for in a romcom.

I watched all 7 episodes on Dailymotion. It was only 720p and had ads, but it was my only choice.

Whereas I deeply care about all your opinions, so please share them all with me so I don't have to trouble myself with forming my own.

Title Loving Strangers Spoiler

I find that I am more sympathetic towards Jiang Jia Qi's wife (Chinese version) than I was towards Park Dong Hun's wife (Korean original). For me, the Chinese version made me understand her decision to cheat, and even though I don't condone her choice, I can understand it. Jiang Jia Qi shows no emotion whatsoever towards his wife. He treats her like a housemate rather than a spouse. He barely even talks to her, but he tells his biological family everything. He never shows his wife any affection nor does he seem to have any interest in her life, but he shows great warmth towards, and is deeply involved in the details of his biological family's lives. His behaviour towards his wife is not consistent with someone in love with her. At best, he politely tolerates her. It's understandable that a woman treated with such cold indifference month after month after month may eventually look elsewhere for the companionship and affection that is entirely missing from her marriage.

Title My Mister
As of March 2026, I've only scored 3 dramas (out of 282 completed dramas) a score of a perfect 10. The first was "My Mister", the second was "When Life Gives You Tangerines", and the third is the Chinese remake of "My Mister" called "Loving Strangers". In my OPINION, the Chinese remake is just as good as the Korean original. In some aspects. It is very true to the original, but also different.
If you enjoyed the original Korean "My Mister", you should check out the Chinese remake.

Do you even know what an opinion is? Are other people allowed to have them, or only you?

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Personally I disagree with your opinion. I've only watched 19 episodes, but from what I've seen, *IN MY OPINION* it is on par with the Korean original.

I started laughing when the typical cliche OST started playing in the first episode. It looked so out of place…
The original is a masterpiece (see my MDL list). I'm half way through this remake, and in my opinion, so far it is just as good as the original. In fact, in some areas, I think the Chinese version is slightly better.

The fact that this is still rated 8.0 is a disgrace... (should be little higher)
It should be much higher. I'm half way through it, and so far, it is as good as the original.
Edit: I've now finished the drama and I still believe that this remake is as good as the original.

That 4 inch long hair sticking out of Burin's neck is quite distracting. If he doesn't want to cut it off, perhaps he should at least tuck it into his shirt.

I have to question the competence of police who find a body floating in a pool with bruising around the neck (which would have been the case if someone was strangled as we witnessed), and conclude it was suicide. Did they think she violently strangled herself?

The original "My Mister" is a masterpiece, one of only two dramas I've scored a perfect 10 until now (I've watched nearly 300 dramas). This remake is excellent, and is (in my opinion) as good as the original, and even slightly better in some ways. Marc Chao and Zhang Zi Feng are both brilliant in their roles, as good as Lee Sun Kyun and IU were in the original. The supporting cast are all very capable actors, which is not something I would say about most Chinese dramas I've watched. This is the best modern Chinese drama I've ever seen, and is the first Chinese drama I'll be scoring a perfect 10.

There is only a 6 year age gap between the actors. Hwang In Youp might have a young appearance, but he was in his 30s when he filmed this drama.

Title The Scandal
Honestly man, I think you're being way too pessimistic here. Just because something has been rare doesn't mean…
In Korea, A-list actresses just don't do full nudity (in Korean productions). They just don't. The closest you will find is Park Ji Hyun who filmed nude sex scenes for the movie "The Hidden Face", but that movie was filmed in early 2022, even though it was released in 2024, which was before Ji Hyun's career took off and elevated her to her current A-list status. In Korea, nudity is overwhelmingly performed by rookie actresses wanting to get a foot into the industry. Occasionally, a more established, but not particularly successful actress will take on such a role in the hope of giving her career a boost. Of course, body doubles and CGI can also be used these days.

"I'm very keen to see who Faye's partner will be. Assuming the actors are playing characters roughly their age, if Nina (age 45) has a daughter, then she's probably about Yoko's age (24). So I'm predicting Faye's new love interest will be about the same age as Yoko. Time will tell if I'm right or not."

Four months later and I can see that I'm a really good guesser.
