Dropping this after only two episodes. Wu Xiu Ya is one of the doormatiest doormats who ever doormatted, and this frustrates me so much. I simply wasn't enjoying this drama, which is the whole point of watching them.

Please learn what words mean.

I really enjoyed this a lot. I thought it was cleverly written and well acted. I was especially impresssed with Liu Yi Jun's acting. His mastery of subtle microexpressions reflect an actor who has mastered his craft. Similarity, Liu Dan's acting impressed me.
My score: 9/10.

I've never heard of Son Ye Jin doing "off screen nudity", and I'm having great difficulty in believing that is true. Can you please tell me where you heard this, or even provide a link?

Her previous roles were not explicit in those movies. Although they were sex scenes, they weren't nude scenes.

I'm thinking it might have some. There is zero chance that Son Ye Jin will do nudity, but there is a chance that Nana might. Remember, she did nudity in Mask Girl. Of course, there is also the possibility that body doubles are used, like the nude scene by Jung Yun Ha in "The Trunk". Also, there are plenty of other aspiring actresses who would happily do a nude scene if it advances their career.

Korean A list actors do *not do nude scenes in Korean productions, so there is literally no chance Son Ye Jin will do nudity. I'm curious to see if the drama does contain nudity from other actors though. Nana did a nude scene in Mask Girl, so she might do another in this drama. Time will tell I suppose.
(*Jeon Do Yeon is perhaps the single exception to this)

I'm disappointed when filmmakers portray a nonconcensual kiss as cute or romantic. Consent matters, or at least it should.

I think we have a new champion for the most staring into each other's eyes in a drama. But showcasing Mun Ka Young's enormous eyes isn't the worst thing.

I've just watched the first episode ... and oh my god ... the sexual tension.

I wanted to watch this, but the subtitles even on the MangoTV offical page are terrible. Sadly will have to drop this drama because of the terrible subtitles.

Is this drama really a sequel to "Remembrance of Things Past"?

There are no love triangles, however, the FL's ex-boyfriend returns and tries (briefly) to win her back, but she makes it abundantly clear that she is not interested. There are THREE couples in this drama, and we follow all of their stories in considerable depth. There is only one season of this drama, and it definitely wraps everything up nicely, so there will never be a season two.

This drama is brilliant. Mature, realistic, funny, emotional, thought provoking. I was very close to scoring it 10/10 for only the third time in over 200 dramas. The writing is excellent and the acting is probably the best I've ever seen in a Chinese drama. Zhou Yu Tong's scene at the end of episode 2 gave me chills, and the last 15 minutes of episode 10 was just ... wow. It's just so very, very good.
My score 9.5/10.

I've been delaying watching this drama for 2 years because of the supposed unsatisfying ending. HOWEVER, now that I've watched it, I really did enjoy it - including the last two episodes. I already knew the two leads didn't end up together, but even if I didn't, it was made perfectly clear by episode 3 that it wouldn't be a happy ending for them. My advice to people deciding whether or not to watch this drama, definitely give it a go ... but just understand that life took the two leads in different directions. There's a reason that this drama (currently) has a MDL score of 8.8 - its actually really, really good.

The YouTube version has the music digitally removed (presumably for copyright reasons), which results is poor (or no) audio in places. But the English subs are good, much better than those on the 'dubious' streaming sites. But I decided to subscribe to Mango TV for one month which cost me AU$2.29 and I get perfect audio, HD video and good English subs. This drama is seriously good - spend the money to enjoy it properly.
