Good one! Very touching and very natural. The only thing that could be done better is the editing. They refilm…
I'm not saying your'e wrong, because I'm sure you are right, but personally I haven't noticed this even once. Perhaps you're just more observant than me. Although I did see the cameraman's relection in the car window in episode 5 at about 28:30, but that was hard to miss.
A high quality drama well deserving of its current MDL rating of 9.0. The story had depth and realism, as well…
Something I really hate in dramas is an undeserved or unearned redemption. Too many dramas just "forgive" the poor behaviour of a character at the end, in an attempt to make everything happily ever after. I REALLY appreciated the fact that in this drama, that didn't happen. Wen Yi Fan's mother absolutely did not deserve forgiveness for what she allowed to happen to her daughter, and Wen Yi Fan was well justified in cutting ties with her. Similarly, I'm glad that Wen Yi Fan chose not to meet with her step sister who was an entitled little bitch.
A high quality drama well deserving of its current MDL rating of 9.0. The story had depth and realism, as well as a dark subplot that I found difficult to watch at times. I'll also admit I found it frustrating watching Sang Yan and Wen Yi Fan make so very many poor decisions. But many aspects of this drama I really liked a lot. I thought the closure provided and fan service paid to us viewers over the last few episodes was some of the most satisfying I've ever seen. I'll add one more thing I really liked as a spolier. I also enjoyed seeing Zhang Miao Yi in a more serious, mature role. It was quite different to the roles I've seen her play previously. Overall, I highly recommend this drama. My score: 9/10.
I am really enjoying it but its because I wasn't expecting it to be realistic. Most idol dramas are n't realistic,…
I'm not so sure he is quite that perfect. He spent the first half of the drama lying constantly to Yi Fan and tormenting her about her sleep walking (that was caused by stress), which only added to her stress. She even got to the point where she decided to move out from their shared accomodation. Yi Fan basically had PTSD (or something similar), and Sang Yan tormenting her is not something I would expect from a "perfect" person. There's also his petty jealous behaviour towards Duan Jia Xu, his non-conensual kiss and his coercive behaviour towards Yi Fan. Also his complete inability to have a mature conversation with Yi Fan to clear up the many misunderstandings they have. But other than that, he's probably perfect.
Is there no suggestion that there will be a 3 week wait (or something like that) until the final episode airs, like some GLs have done? I'm also waiting so I can binge this drama.
I've just started watching the first episode and I need to say that the premise that a person would pretend to not recognise their ex-lover from only 6 years ago, and that ex-lover would actually believe them, is absurd.
A reasonably entertaining drama, albeit quite similar to several other Chinese dramas I watched. It did get a little bit draggy, especially in the middle episodes and like most dramas, I think it may have benefited by being a bit shorter. I did like the main characters but I found their level of prudishness close to absurd, even for a Chinese drama. My advice to Xie Ang and Jiang Yi Man is to find someone else - their perpetual like/hate "relationship" doesn't bode well long term. I'm also wondering if the writers were subtly hinting that Gao Yun Lang and Chen Mo were gay. One can only speculate. If you like fluffy Youth Romance dramas, then you'll probably like this drama. 8/10.
I'm pretty sure it is the whole drama. I agree it ends quite suddenly, but there is no indication anywhere that this is just a clip from a longer drama.
One day I'm going to watch an Asian drama written by someone who listened in highschool science class enough to learn that you don't catch a cold (i.e. viral infection) because you were rained or snowed on. One day that will happen, but not today.
My score: 9/10.
