At excellent drama. The only reason I didn't give S2 10/10 (like I did for S1) was because I thought that the final episode, although good, wasn't as emotionally satisfying as it could have been. My score is 9.5/10.

I support GL content, so I will watch almost any GL drama. But since dramas like "Blank" and "The Loyal Pin" have been released, my expectations have increased. So, I found this drama decidedly average. The script, the pacing, much of the acting, the cinematography - it was all just very average in my opinion. But I'm still glad I watched it and I remain grateful to the Thai film studios that are producing GL content, especially considering they are mostly doing it with very small budgets.
My score: 7½/10

Personally I thought Season 2 was at least as good as Season 1. It's just shorter, and so the story develops quicker, and there is less of it.

I thought the second season was at least as good as the first, and maybe even slightly better. I understand your disappointment that Jung So Min was not in this season (she's also one of my favourite Korean actresses), and that has clearly been a deal breaker for you. But the drama is about the character of Naksu and her ability to soul shift into different bodies. So from a story point of view, the change of actresses makes perfect sense. Remember, Naksu is originally played by Go Youn Jung at the start of S01E01. My advice (which you are free to ignore of course) is to put this drama on hold and maybe come back to it in 6 or 12 months.

Obviously you make your own choice regarding what to watch, but at least consider this:
In S1, Jang Uk falls in love with Naksu, who just happened to be residing in Mu Deok's body, which we find out was actually Jin Bu Yeon's body.
In S2, Jang Uk again falls in love with Naksu, who is residing in Jin Bu Yeon's resurrected body, but that body has taken on the appearance of Naksu's original body.
So, BOTH seasons were about (among other things) the love between Jang Uk and Naksu. Also, season 2 is really good - just as good as season 1.

A seriously good drama. Only the second drama (out of more than 200) I've watched that I'm scoring as 10/10. It really is that good.

My sympathy goes out to all those Asian people who had evil/controlling parents or grandparents. It is so totally fucked up that a professional woman approaching 30 needs her mother's permission to date someone. The skip button is my friend when the evil mother appears on the screen.
I also wish Xu Qin would not be a doormat. Why is it that so many female characters in Chinese dramas are doormats?

I'm dropping this one after 5 episodes. It's not that its bad, its just that the story hasn't hasn't really grabbed me. It seems pretty clear that the Yan Mo character is somewhere on the autism spectrum and I guess special needs romance just isn't to my taste. But reading through other people's comments, clearly many others did enjoy this drama, so read the plot summary and make up your own mind if this drama might be for you.

I've only watched two episodes, but so far Wen Shao Qing is an arrogant manipulative and slightly creepy jerk. Controlling male characters who mistreat females just trigger me. I know it will never happen, but for once I want to hear a female character tell the controlling jerk male character to go fuck himself rather than just submitting to him like a doormat. Sigh!

It's a real shame that this drama has been review bombed by MDL morality warriors who see the word "affair" in the title and then score it low without even watching it. It is an extremely good drama. If the plot summary interests you, then watch it. If you skip it just due to the ridiculously low score, you'll be missing out on a high quality drama.

As a fan of GL dramas, I found the drama cute and entertaining. In my view, it is a better drama than their last GL offering (https://mydramalist.com/756595-lucky-my-love), even though the MDL scores suggest otherwise. But for viewers who aren't really fans of GL dramas, it's hard to recommend this drama. The plot is simplistic and cliched, the acting was average at best and this drama won't be winning any awards for cinematography. The chemistry between the actors is something else that I think misses the mark, especially compared to some other Thai GLs. The kisses and even the intimate scenes are barely room temperature, although it does heat up a bit right at the end.
So to summarise ...
* If you like GL content, then watch it - you'll probably like it.
* If you're not a GL fan, then you probably won't like it much and you are perhaps better off watching something else.

Better late than never.
