Well, I would say bittersweet
It's actually a fulfilling ending for me. The couple I wanted together got together at the end(present day couple). While you might already know what happened to our ML, he gave use really good reasons and comfort at the end of ep 16. Totally loved this show and would rewatch it anytime ❤️

Yeah I didn’t think of this at all but now that you say it i think they really missed up big with this 1950…
It's okay, I understand what you mean. I understood how it was and can't blame them but these kinda concepts always weird me out, can't help it

Well IDGAF what year it was, it's weird to me. I don't have to agree with the mindset of people back in the day... that's why things changed now. idc if you're saying a 17yr old girl married a 11 yr old boy, doesn't make it sound any better lol

How is the romance in this?? Is there a lot or is it slight? Do any couples actually form? 🧍🏾‍♀️

NVM the Korean War lasted from 1950-1953. 14+3=17 hmmm... They messed up the age big time. They didn't have to make her older than her husband... that makes him underage and makes the whole thing weird.

But the synopsis says they got separated in a war in the 1950's meaning possibly between 1950 - 1959. That was a grown man/boy... pretty sure he wasn't 14. It'd be more realistic if we assumed he was the one who was 20 and her 26 instead. Still falls under the 1950's

Bro what are you talking about? The picture posted was her and the student just standing still outside of school…
Honey I don't know where you live but that's not how the rest of the world is. There have been many occasions where teachers have helped troubled student and even become their legal guardians or foster parents. I don't care to read your whole paragraph but you Def reaching FR!

It is a fault of a person who died as well. His death left people paralysed who truly loved him.He didn’t think…
I don't do victim Blaming. At the end of the day people are sad right? yes. However, the only person who knew truly how sad this situation was and how sad they was is only and will only be that person who made that decision. At one point or another the people left behind may move on. Only he knew how he felt to do what he did.

For people worried about romance.. lemme tell yall something, I see bitter romance and love triangles 🔺️…
There might be something between Seong Nam and Chung ha (Hope not tho) but Ui seong or Bo geon or whoever becomes crown prince might become betrothed to Chung ha. Also I feel like something tragic might happen to Grand prince Mu An and that girl he's involved with.

Some commenters are ridiculous. Just because it wasn't legal or because it was well hidden doesn't mean things like this didn't happen in the OLD DAYS!

So can someone clarify for me why the Queen hasn't out and out said to her sons that they need to get on the ball…
With what she discovered at the end of ep 6 she better be telling them in the coming eps coz otherwise they might be next.

Background story and characters are lame AF! The only way they can save this series for the remaining 4 episodes is spend all 40mins on Mangkorn and Yai. I could not give anymore F's about anything else going on TBH!

So anyone else feels like the story is missing something? Like a lot of nothing is happening. I don't know the…
I know exactly what is missing. Both main leads lack enough time together to build up their relationships and there’s so much time wasted on irrelevant characters that I'm sure I wouldn't mind not seeing. Without the MC the background characters and stories are so weak. At this point they just need to let everything else go and focus more on the MCs
