Actually when was it filmed and why it was delayed... I don't find any articles about it
@John Smith You couldn’t have put it better. No, the drama does feel a bit on the outdated side ( a little too much like early 2000s K-dramas for my liking) and this format does seem a lot more attributed to the style of Chinese dramas, than a modern Korean one. Totally agree.

Agreed. I will be honest in saying that this drama isn’t without its faults, however, it does certainly raise the question how many potentially intriguing storylines or concepts have been put on hold or disregarded by networks until years down the line.

@John Smith That does make sense to some extent, however, it’s unusual for a show to wait two years to do this though. There have been a lot of dramas where main male actors have filmed and programmes have still aired during their service. I’m not saying that you’re wrong and I certainly don’t want to spread any false word ( as the details towards the delay don’t seem to be specified entirely by media coverage), however, @CChai may have a point. It is likely that there was either a little controversy behind the scenes, or, the producers had a bit of a falling out with the original network.

I don’t know the entire story, but it was originally filmed in 2018. I believe it was shelved due to networks not picking it up initially.

im loving this so far, never seen a drama like this and the comments were so pessimistic but im really liking…
I hate to be that person, but there are a lot of dramas like this out there with similar setups. Agreed with the complete hate upon the drama though. It isn’t as bad as people make it out to be and certainly a lot more refreshing than certain relationships in K-dramas.

I'm not too intrigued about the love triangle. The SML just needs to move on lol. I think Hyeri and Ki Yong complement…
Agreed. Don’t get me wrong. I love Lee Dam in both the webtoon and the drama, but, this is where I think the webtoon is a little better at portraying the FL’s complete disinterest in the second male lead.

Title Sell Your Haunted House Spoiler
None so far and E13 is out now. Maybe in the last 3 episodes....
Agreed. The romance here is more what could be said as ” platonic soulmates" than passionate lovers. Really depends on personal taste.

worth the watch or not?
Depends on personal tastes. If you’re a fan of supernatural mysteries with profound messages and themes , then worth every moment of your time. I’m not normally one to go on a subjective rant but I can’t deny that Jang Na Ra is a complete show stealer as the FL.

I have watched 7 ep and its good for me till now.Main complain I hear is about FL charcter being boring but I…
Surprisingly I actually quite like the female lead and especially not falling cliche to becoming a total jerk despite her scenario. Instead, I think it’s some of the ideologies around her relationship with the deity, the decisions for the " sake of plot" with her illness and of course the second main leads which ultimately cause the plot to be a bit shaky.

I legit just came here to see if anyone else thought it was getting boring since the drama cool comment section…
@gashina, agreed . The plot isn’t inherently original, but the female lead is a surprising saving grace.

Am i just overreacting or this series isn't as fun as people say? This rating on MDL is high and the comment section…
I can see where you’re coming from. One of the things which can be a little annoying on MDL at times are drama ratings that are overrated and biased rather than just being honest. I get having a personal liking or opinion upon a show, however, regardless of whether you like this show, it is truly wearing rose-tinted glasses not to accept that there are flaws either.

I'm trying my best to keep my mouth shut regarding the haters. Like one of the lessons that this drama taught…
I can certainly see where you’re coming from, however, as you said, everyone is entitled to an opinion. Some " haters" may still be watching to see if it picks up, others may be watching because they enjoy the plot and themes whilst some can see both sides . Personally I am in the middle with this one; objectively it’s not a perfect storyline. There’s a lot of plot holes which are yet to be covered ( and certainly some better side character development) , however, it isn’t unwatchable either and there are some nice messages carried on.

I don't see the connection?
I can see where you’re coming from, though, these sorts of stories have been popular in different formats in K-dramas before and especially long before Doom At Your Service...

It is kinda cute but “ breath of fresh air” is dependent on taste. If you grew / started with 2000s k-dramas with the same setups and genres, you’ll understand that there are some outdated problems with this show...

The hate comments dont do this drama justice, i find it cute, a breath of fresh air not that stressful to watch.…
I can see where you’re coming from to a certain extent, but, it’s hard a little for some watchers ( myself included) to find the drama “ cute” where there’s the level of glamorisation of abusiveness and emotional gaslighting. Don’t get me wrong. This is an old drama, however, even by 2018 standards this is just tiresome and a repeat of everything the early 2000s dramas with the " toxic but cutesy" relationships.

At this point I just want Inhyung to leave JJ's company and go join some other agency where she can actually speak…
Agreed. It is a bit sickening how JJ pulls all the strings out of jealousy. If there’s one thing which is really annoying me about this drama, it is the relationships. I get that it is supposed to " intensify the drama" but its a tiresome trope with all the emotional gaslighting etc.

its because the manager said it would be worse if he was the one to help her
There are still other ways he could’ve comforted her when nobody was around though . ( Especially considering that they are cohabitating.)

Thank you , I’m not the only one who noticed this! I know that they’re trying to take make them " funny", but the producers are just nothing but rude and degrading and snapping every thread of patience that I have at the moment...
