I also think she feels like she has a lot of ground to make up for. If she wasn't delayed, she would've been the it girl right now! She certainly had the backing but this new team, seem to know what makes a star but they are doing it on her terms which is what we want to see!
I can't remember who it was on here but it seems our wish for Reba to collar with Jeremy Tsui has sailed because he recently announced his retirement :(
This can't be real. He has such great potential but it makes so much sense why they kept pushing this man to film dramas with the young actresses as if he didn't have the desire to grow beyond idol dramas.
Oh how I want Reba to play a sect leader of a top assassin house. Reba is the leader of one house, and her two elder sisters are the leaders of the other two house. All 3 houses are descendants of the imperial family but since the Emperor favours his sons, he sent his 3 daughters to be concubine spies for foreign rulers. Unbeknownst to him, his daughters have become 3 of the most powerful assassins who created 3 powerful guilds, constantly giving the Emperor grief in return for sending them off to foreign land all those years. The Emperor believes his daughters have either fallen to an early grave or are bedridden and submissive. The two elder sisters don't take their revenge too far as their concubine mothers are still alive and living in the palace where they are kept hostage. Only Reba's mother had died young as she was a mere pawn to draw in her maternal family to the Emperor's side as they were founding families of the previous dynasty. The elder sister has a kind and patient demeanour but is calculative, the second sister is playful but has a sharp and strategic mind while the youngest Reba is a combination of the eldest two, dark, calculative, and is known for having many male concubines. All 3 sisters do not know of each other's involvement in the underworld and often meet in combat not knowing of each others existence. Soon 5 of the Emperors sons find themselves in strife as the two youngest Princes find themselves thrust into the battle and the throne is up for the taking. Which one of the sisters will make a grab for it and shake the imperial family?

Same. Funny thing is, its only been a few days since we saw her lol I hope she got to rest and recuperate before she heads over to her next location for her drama.
This is why I stan unproblematic actresses, because its hard to make it at the top to the point where you're the only one there. The more we support women, the better we see them represented in the spaces they work hard for.
