Empress Ki is a great drama. Should it have been cut about 10 episodes which were filler episodes? Yes. It should have or at least reallocated it to finish off the ending as it was rushed. Over SOYP is delivered better because it paced itself well and cut it to 70 episodes which tastefully tidied the plot up nicely. If EK had been given the right care and consideration, it might have concluded just right. I do appreciate the way the scriptwriters handled the various relationships dynamic and how each shift in the relationships signals an end or a new beginning in the character journey. So both dramas have their points and weakness but I suggest watching it at your pace and let yourself explore the characters both in depth and on a surface level.

Honestly they let that tasteless Yu Zheng producer talk shit about her on camera and in public. They are nasty as hell and only interested in safeguarding their money grabbing interests. I just don't get how they can treat their own stars like this. I hope her move inspires many to move out.

Jaywalk are a bunch of leeches. What has always upset me about them is they are always on the hunt for a quick buck when it comes to the actors on the roster and have them play second fiddle to other actors from other agencies. But will mercilessly use their top stars to traffic for subpar works because they know they can still get money/sponsorship from having someone like Reba on it. They don't stop to think what it does for their stars but how to extract as much as humanly possible. They have the nerve to announcement new projects they have invested into but not their own stars!
