Nah they really took the FL's whole personality as "Dong Chan's girlfriend" waay too seriously! Like the using her body to block the knife trope is overdone. They really could've given her character a chance to really thrive but she did nothing to advocate for herself in many instances but they make all her interactions about her time with him.
