Terrorism index usually captures attacks within a country. Pakistan is high due to the countless attacks by a Taliban offshoot within the country itself. The price it must pay to be the puppets of the US during the war against 'terrorism' in Afghanistan. The country is actively fighting these groups and the army (overgrown cancer) is in perpetual war with them.

So it's kind of hilarious to use that as an example. By definition the index captures countries most AFFECTED by terrorism. The line in the show isn't him supporting Pakistan in its fight against terrorism, it says he was fighting PAKISTANI TERRORISTS. So please spare me your lacklustre knowledge of world history as well as lack of media literacy.

Also, imagine for 20+ years the Taliban harassing Pakistan for being puppets of the US. Where the people of Pakistan pay the high price for their sellout army being used to help the Americans in it's fight against 'terrorism' while the US itself is the biggest perpetrator of terrorism alongside it's suckle baby the Zionist project. So spare me your highbrow knowledge of knowing who is at the top of the list when you don't even know what the list means.

I have watched the line back to back. It's not even funny how people bend backwards like pretzels to defend people they don't even know.

For all the kids watching this show, please do some research on how propaganda works. How the zionist state has used and invested millions of $$ in speeding such propaganda all over the world. It's not a coincidence that Palestine and Pakistan were mentioned back to back. Pakistan is the only muslim state that has the nuclear weapons and is in opposition of the Zionist entity. This is a textbook case of correlation.

People who have millions invested in the show choose to add that line. It went through countless edits. Re-edits and it was still put in the drama. THAT SAYS SOMETHING. It can be changed after, it can be rephrased. But the fact remains that that line made it to the final edit where millions of people watched it. It was used as background information. Building on the character. It was intentional and not just a side line. This is how propaganda works. It's insidious and very subtle. Media literacy is a thing.

Also, this is not a false accusation. The line in question existed. Please stop being divorced from reality. I don't care to read the webtoon to whitewash the line. Why should I? I'm talking about the show. Audience shouldn't have to do a dissertation on a topic before having a reaction. I'm speaking about a show, I'm referencing that only. The source material is irrelevant when I'm not bashing the story at all. I'm pointing out the intentions of the team producing this show as its own entity. I'm pointing out the audacity that a million dollar production has to put that line into a show while the ethnic cleansing and genocide is still occurring. This topic is hyper sensitive. There is a non-existent chance that the team did not know this. So please stop crying about it being taken out of context. This isn't a kids play written by toddlers and edited by the diaper squad.

I can forgive actors if they come out to divest themselves from material that they don't condone. For now, I haven't seen that happen to my satisfaction.

Honestly didn't know so many people are that thirsty for actors to overlook their humanity and morals. Media is art and never divested from politics. Any media siding with a genocidal state and doing propaganda for the runaway state should be boycotted. I have lost all respect for so ji sub. He will now be on my avoid list, same with the writer and director.

Pls do justice to the source material. The novel is so precious and my guilty pleasure when I need a pick me up and to feel warm fuzzies. I have seen the ML is other shows and loved him, but I'm new to the actress. Hopefully this is as good and not a wash.

Coming back to this comment since I seem to be craving a lot of these shows for a rewatch. Honestly so bummed about the current shows, nothing scratches the itch like the oldies.

I think you can watch Massaya on lakorn galaxy's website. As for Manee Yard Fah, I watched it on youtube, but those have been taken down ages ago. It might still be available for download if you search around. It's available in raw on youtube if you want to watch without subs.

It's the reason why sometimes watching dramas you see super old phones that date the drama.

It's also pretty sad cause his whole dorky vibe was off as well. Like if an older actor could play the nonchalant and sly character, I wouldn't have been complaining, but the actor was not only old, but also didn't fit the character vibe. He came across as awkward and tropey.

Just a guess, many companies have so many finished shows, they just hold on to them, some never end up airing. I just hope no scandal breaks out with any of the cast since that would be an official death call for this show.

I don't even need to watch the show to know which house you are talking about. I can close my eyes and walk through the whole layout of that house.

The ML was severely miscast. The actor would probably suit a more mature character, not a teen prince. The voice actor they picked is also super mature sounding, so compounded, the character seemed really off, which in turn caused me to be disassociated with the leads and could not feel any chemistry between them.
Overall a pretty decent plot (since the novel is actually really good) that could have been better if they cast an appropriate ML.

It's not even a surprise for me anymore. People rate shows too high honestly.
