For a show based on revenge, the reason behind the revenge was lacklustre

Wow, never thought I would say this, but BigM is actually worse in terms of acting than Hana. She has improved so much since I last saw her.

Lets get the good out of the way first, I really loved the FL in this show. She was sincere and very practical. Only downside is how stupid she was about a certain person who she apparently grew up with but can't recognize? Another thing I found really annoying was that she is a jewelry designer, but does nothing for her company the whole show (aside from that one event held at her family home). It felt like such a wasted opportunity to give the FL some agency outside of her relationship with the ML, but thats a minor gripe. Overall, I liked her direct character.

Second thing I LOVED about this show was the skinship. It was sizzling!!! I don't think I've seen an asian show with this much skinship between the leads. It's usually hinted at or shown glimpses of, but never so explicit. Kudos to them for actually showing a healthy physical relationship where the girl isn't a mannequin with her eyes popping open like she's a deer facing a cars headlights.

Now, for the bad bits. It was really difficult to sit through this lakorn. I really wanted to like this one as I usually enjoy revenge plots that make me sob tears for the poor FL. However, the premise for revenge has to have some legs for me to believe that the ML must act that way. In this lakorn, the premise is soooo lame and stupid. You would never think a grown man is playing out his revenge fantasies because a women dumped him? I fail to fathom how in 2022 these types of regressive male ego trips are being given any sort of platform? How do you spend months with a person, then you see them say one bad thing about you and you just walk away and mope without confronting said person you were just about to propose to? I'm sorry, but if I was the girl in the situation, I would thank God for having dodged the bullet of fragile male ego. Sichon is one of those guys who will believe any Tom, Dick and Harry before he believe's the women he claims to love despite her sticking with him, giving him moral support as well as solving pretty much all his problems in his time of need. This is poor writing and pretty much ruined the show for me. Revenge plots are heavily grounded by the reason for revenge. In this show, I couldn't get behind the pathetic ML. He just came off as a loser who couldn't just ask the girl why she said those things before plotting to destroy her life?

Anywho, I think the show had a pretty poor start. I actually started becoming invested in the side story about the farm more than the revenge plot being enacted by the ML. It also doesn't help that the ML, BigM is a below average actor. Hana's acting was actually surprising in this as I usually find her pretty bland, but compared to BigM, she seemed way more animated. It also helps that she is one of the best looking young Thai actresses (I also loved most of her outfits, the wardrobe designer for this show deserves a raise!).

Lastly, I don't see many people mentioning this, but the show had a very odd colour palette. It was a bit vignette shaded. Sometimes people were overexposed and sometimes underexposed, The colours were saturated a times and sometimes they seemed fine. I don't know if it's a stylistic choice or editing errors, but it didn't come off well and looked non-professional.
