It always funny when wimpy twinks are made to fight each other.
People unalive themselves not because their mothers have died prematurely, but because of how their brains got wired up by maturity, which leads them having periods of deep depression, insecurity, self-esteem pitfalls, strikes of utter despair that are most dangerous. Even with the happiest surrounding family they would still do it.
Too bad that all kinds of series can never grasp just how bad and hopeless the situation is most of the time and trivialise it by ascribing this condition to random events in life, which are fundamentally irrelevant to it and can only become triggers, though even that is unnecessary.
THE FIRST thing blind people are given is a white cane so people around would see that the person is blind, so here it did not happen. Does the family want him die in a car accident or something?
Also, why the producers are so clueless about the severe cornea damage they claim the lad is suffers from? In such cases it visibly becomes whitish/opaque, but the lad has clear corneas.
And, of course, cornea can not suddenly become opaque during a badminton match, this is nonsense.
Also, expensive models of BMW cars have excellent seatbelts, so they never stuck. The scriptwriters idea was that most viewers only ever get to use cheap cars where this can happen, though still extremely rarely, so they would not notice.
The key under the pot is not what unlocks mansions.
They show Mhok trying to be blind in the crowds as id Thai have never seen blind people. It is not happening like that at all, it is dramatisation.
You do not need libraries to borrow books. They are available online for some money or even free of charge. And you can get audiobooks there just fine.
Even better, you can get any book printed for you in Braille font for the blind and sent to you. And you can even buy Braille decides that would “print” sentences for you to feel and read them this way, so no need to wait for any special prints, if you choose so.
WHAT? The blind lad still does not have a white cane? Not believable. Also, blind people are not three years old olds, so they can keep their position easily, even if they are pushed away for a second. And there is no way a blind person would get go of his phone. And, again, Thais would help the blind right away. The scenarists have come up with drama out of thin air.
The fights in BL series are almost always laughable. They fought for a while but almost no visible damage.
The feeling Day has about Mhok supposedly not treating him as disabled contradicts to what is happening, the babysitting, so it makes no sense.
WHAT? The lass wants to keep the fetus from a horrible father, even though it is just a couple of months old, so it is safe to remove it? Not quite believable. If she wants a baby regardless of love or family, there are countless better variants to get pregnant.
WAIT, Day is shown to practice all night? The scriptwriters did not care to check how sports work. It makes no sense to practice during nights because your accuracy and overall performance drastically falls due to fatigue, you make way more mistakes than usual, and you learn and improve nothing positive during this period. So not believable at all.
Day’s former badminton partner only coming to their meeting many hours later without ever writing that he is going to be late or responding to calls makes zero sense. A sprain does not make you forget your phone, either, so there is no believable excuse.
Day is shown to be in love with his badminton partner, but then, only like five seconds later, he is returning the kiss that Mhok is giving him while being devastated with his heartbreak. This is not how things work in real life.
Blind people are perfectly able to buckle their seatbelts and tie their shoelaces. The scriptwriters do not know even basic facts about the condition.
The idea of Day refusing to have intimate fun with Mhok is not believable because males are not about keeping chastity but about satisfying their natural needs that are crazy-strong and basically imperative.
And it has nothing to do with love or the lack of it, it is simply a physiological process.
WOW, Day’s brother is flirting with pregnant Mhok’s former girlfriend? That is very rare behaviour because evolutionary males are not attracted to visibly pregnant women because it means they are already bearing a fetus, so she is not available for procreation. But it does happen, so it is interesting.
As nearly always with BL series, they show lads becoming boyfriends first, and then engaging intimately. But it is the opposite order versus how it happens in reality, so not believable.
This series has two couples with one partner being blind. In real life, those cases are incredibly rare. It would have been way more believable if both couples were all blind.
Cornea opacity of this kind does not jump to worse and back as the series show, it can only freeze its state or degrade to worse.
Besides, there is no substantial difference between how the lad sees and what will happen three months from now. The eyes will not all of the sudden go dark, unlike how the series claims. It is just the silhouettes will become even more blurry until the eyes would only see light and dark gradients at best.
The point is that the advice to “do things you always wanted to do” in the remaining three months is useless as the lad already does not see anything almost.
WHAT? Day is bland for a year and a half, but still can not write? Not believable at all. Blind people can write very well, and they use liners and other limiters to orient their writing correctly.
WAIT, Day blames a drunk person on the second row, his brother, of his car for his dangerous irresponsible driving that has lead to his blindness? This is so wrong and petty; Day is a bad person.
Cornea damage is rare in car crashes. The corneas would have to be stuck with lots of tiny degree particles or damaged by the gas from malfunctioned airbags or burned by fire. None of which is shown on the lad’s face.
Taiwan is not some lawless country so fathers have full visiting rights in regards to their children, unless the father is dangerous, so the plot move of the father disappearing for twenty years not becuase he did not care but because the mother did not allow him to contact his children makes no sense.
BTW, there are artificial corneas for those who can not wait for donor corneas. It has a major drawback because you will always have to use antibiotic drops, and it will be still risky.
Google Maps and Apple Maps work well in Thailand, so you do not need to confused about where to climb a mountain or find an accommodation, so this plot point is not believable.
Thai banking apps for smartphones support money transfers, so there is no real issue even if the accommodation has “Cash only” sign.
Thailand has big electronic book libraries, accessible (for a fee) via any smartphone, so even if a physical book is missing a page, it is not an issue.
ONLY ONCE? It is not believable that the lads’ first intimate night after half a year of waiting (which is nonsense, but let’s pretend it is so for a second) would only include one instance of fun, rather than, say, three times, which is typical for cases like this.
The chargers are usually plugged in, not just laying around somewhere, it is obligatory for blind users, so the repeated plot point of the charger getting lost is not believable.
WHAT? The mother has zero rights to Day’s phone (regardless if she was the person gifting it initially) she has committed robbery according to Thai law. This might happen in real life, but Day can file a complaint to police to get his phone back.
In the series, cornea transplant only popups like two years after the start of the illness, but this is not believable because in reality it is usually from a few weeks to a couple of months, with half a year for rare long wait cases.
The scenarists have chosen the wrong type of an eye illness to create the drama about.
WHAT? Day is breaking up for three years over some silly thing? They try to justify this by the necessity of personal growth, but both of them could have grown without breaking up just fine. There were lots of way to do it.
Episodes 9-12 are the hardest for scriptwriters because the main drama of lads coming together usually ends by episode 8, so they have to come up with random stupid things to happen in the last few episodes.
This type of a rich mother allowing her sons to be taken by a poor criminal and a poor divorced lass with a baby from another man is out of character, not quite believable.
WRONG in nearly everything (the details are in a reply comment with a spoilers tag), but the actor are great,…

WRONG in nearly everything (the details are in a reply comment with a spoilers tag), but the actor are great, and it is not boring.
The good things are the issue of disability is covered, however faulty, and that the leads are not hardcore straights that all of the sudden become gay, it is better than that.
A PSA: if possible, avoid running both as a recreational/cardio exercise and a sport. The issue is that even if with the most advanced footwear this activity irreversibly destroys your spine and knees. Health scientists did not find any benefits of it in comparison to other activities that do not cause this much harm. The issue is that evolutionary humans are long distance walkers and, rarely, short distance runners, but never long distance runners, hence the body is not accommodated for the latter at all, so it always ends up being destructive.
ANOTHER PSA: never become a couple before trying intimate fun because it can completely and fundamentally destroy all prospects of your relationship no matter how much the purely platonic/romantic part goes. You absolutely need to establish that you are compatible first.
Thank you! I think maybe some viewers are more actor-centric, and others more plot-centric. I need a coherent…
To be fair ITSAY and its second season is a masterpiece on the worldwide level. Not sure that GMMTV has ever produced anything close to this. But I agree we need series that make more sense.
NO WAY a lad could be so sleepy to not be sure if his first ever kiss with the love of his life has happened or not.
The scenarists do not know how being heavily drunk works. You can not quickly jump up in a car and you are not feeling romantic or aroused in any way because alcohols is a powerful depressant drug. The only chance for such actions happening is when you just drank alcohol and it still did not start to fully taking you on.
There is literally no one who has his phone unlocked with no protection, so you can not accidentally pick it up and find incriminating information.
It makes no sense that Akk learns that the football lad is a criminal who is trying to defraud his lover and he is very calm about until until much later when he goes to face the criminal along with Theo.
As always with BL series, police does not exist, so criminals never have any punishment.
The plot move of the football team raising money for the sake of the scumbag team leader thief also makes no sense, not believable.
The teacher taking responsibility for the criminal is also nonsense. She had to be fired with a black mark on her record because she has covered the crime, not for the crime itself. But, of course, this does not happen in the series.
Most BL series confuse love with friendship so the scenarists here suggest that viewers should perceive Akk being angry for Theo being always duped and wanting to protect him is all of the sudden a sign or romantic love, even though it is just basic real friendship.
The whole story turns out to be a farce that makes no sense, but some people are this weird and convoluted, so this is not completely not believable.
To keep the reveal a surprise, the scenarists have made the main lad to behave like a mentally ill person respectively, which is bad quality scriptwriting.
The plot point when Akk is called a leecher on the university social media makes no sense because by that point everybody would have already known that they were childhood friends. At that age people can not come up with schemes like that yet.
The idea that Theo’s parents have reunited to create a fake happy family environment for the sake of their adult (!) son is utterly ridiculous. The scriptwriters are helpless at this point.
As it often happens in cowardly and toothless BL series by GMMTV, love troubles can never happen due to some real reason like cheating, so the supposedly larger than life eternal love becomes incredibly feeble and falls apart for any most stupid and petty causes.
It was very cringy when Theo has tried to make his parents come together again after years of alienation and estrangement with the use of an old silly song that was supposed to all of the sudden change everything. He is truly written as a ten year girl.
Maybe the character is in arrested development, so this is the reason why the parents were trying to fake that they are still together?
Theo “needs” to be with his mother in France? So, is he ten, after all? what kind of nonsense is that?
SOME people say the series has turned to worse since the identity of “Enchante” was revealed, but it was not…

SOME people say the series has turned to worse since the identity of “Enchante” was revealed, but it was not great to begin with. except for actors.
There are dozens of series that depict “brothers” while casting actors that are not even remotely similar to each other, which is pretty annoying.
But here we have a few actors who could be bothers, but they are not in the scenario.
WHAT? Book’s character is written as a lass, so he is not interested in intimate fun? As almost always in BL series. Not believable at all. Also, the idea that they first become boyfriends and only then way later start to become intimate is completely backwards to how things happen in real life.
This tampers with the submerging into the story when you have to suspend disbelief in very basic truths of human life and relationships.
I haven't read the manga being referred, but this lacked a clean execution. There was too much and nothing going…
It looks like the case when a review of a series is more interesting than the series itself.
It is a bit sad because it was quite hard for me to finish Cutie Pie series as barely anything was happening there, and the very few things that did happen were not making much sense.
I want to watch a genuinely interesting series with those actors. But scriptwriters have no great ideas and/or are not capable of executing them in a tight, coherent, sensible way.
Is not JoJo manga also kind of eclectic? Both serious and farcical. Though otherwise it is excellently executed, which is not necessarily the case with this series.
There was barely any story in the whole first series (it it was nonsensical even when something did happen), so it is it a surprise that nothing happens here, too.
The first few episodes are full of countless flashbacks, which is not as good of a narrative tool as the director is thinking.
WHAT? An arranged gay marriage this time? Never heard this happening in real life.
But the whole purpose of such a thing is to create beneficial alliances between families, which is not the case here, so it does not make much sense.
Though the events are years too late to be believable.
Children of the age 10-11 perfectly understand what an engagement is.
Wait, rich lads eat the chemicals product placement instant food junk? Not believable.
Wait, no intimate fun before the marriage? This is even more nonsensical and unbelievable than the arranged gay marriage.
Even more absurd is that this prudish stance is all of the sudden tied to some “respect”. There is nothing disrespectful in pleasing each other, it is the opposite: it is the most respectful thing to do is to provide divine joy to a person you attracted to.
If a drunk person is capable to communicate, then he is guaranteed to be able to recognise the person he loves becuase face and voice recognition are some of the strongest and most resilient neural networks in the brain, so the whole scene with NuNew not being sure with whom he is talking to is not believable.
WHAT? Zee is all of the sudden missing NuNew, even though he just before was stone cold for his whole life towards NuNew? This dynamics is not believable, years too late.
Not a fan of modernist architecture for homes. Looks like a business centre or a hotel, nothing is warm, cosy or human about.
Wait, why NuNew thinks that Zee is not supposed to know what he likes? Makes no sense becuase they knew each other and lived together for years. They have only lived apart for a couple of years when NuNew was in the UK.
What is the point of NuNew lying to Zee about his public performance in a club after he has already revealed his identity there? Makes no sense.
WOW, episode 6 has one of the funniest jokes in all BL series when after Zee’s servant picks up a gear and returns it, the owner says that is an essential component of a computer; I literally LOLed.
If lads are passionately kissing, then stopping for them is basically impossible any more, the drive to have fun in on, so it is akin to interrupting and blue-balling, which is not healthy and basically never happens. Not believable; NuNew’s character continues to be written as a lass while in reality “bottoms” have about as much need for fun as “tops”.
Though the dichotomy is stupid since the majority of bi/gay lads are versatile, which is never the case in any BL series because all of those stories are regular heterosexual romances with lasses replaced with lads with nothing else changed.
Max’ character says how he hates lying and liars, but often lies, he is a realistic hypocrite. His lover, Nat’s character, is supposed to be afraid to lie to Max’ character, but he is lying even in situations where it does not make much sense.
The series gives no sensible reason why Zee was cold and insulting towards NuNew in the beginning, even though he allegedly was ready loving him. A major drawback of the story.
WHAT? They had fun in the dark? What is this: puritan Victorian monastery? In reality males are very much visually driven, so the fun barely ever happens in the dark as it makes zero sense as you want to see the object of your aspirations and intent.
Why did Max gift Nat with an old small dog? A puppy would make more sense.
Wait, the untold drama between Max and Nat’s characters was that Max’s dog run away from the leash and frightened Nat, causing amnesia, when they were children? That is absurd.
You catch cold from someone just by being nearby, not by touching, so the writers have made it stupid.
The drama the NuNew’s character property given to Zee’s character is ridiculous as there is no way this would be this way.
The big drama between the main couple is completely fake as there is no sensible ready why NuNew’s character did not know the property thing in the first place, but even if he did not, there is no reason for his mother of Zee’s character to keep it secret. They treat him as a five year old, which is not believable. So it is just another “misunderstanding” plot vehicle case.
Indeed, why Nat’s character is afraid of Max’? Was it Max’ character himself who has bitten Nat’s, not his dog?
WOW, Zee’s character allegedly not knowing about his parter that he likes motorcycles is the reason for the final drama of the series.
A PSA: just because someone is looking at your eyes when s/ge speaks, it does meant what is told is all of the sudden truth. This telltale makes sense only for five-year olds, occasionally.
NOTHING HAPPENS type of series, but worth it if you like the lads. What little that does happen does not make much…

so usually I’m not one who is picking on things. but this drama seems so toxic. yes its fictional but damn.…
Thankfully, everybody is adult for years by the time of the story, but this series does have a bit of 50 Shades of Grey sentiment. A bigger issue is that some might find the series too thin events-wise. That could be a reason to drop it, too.
NOTHING HAPPENS type of series, but worth it if you like the lads.
What little that does happen does not make much sense, so you should not really pay attention to it. I could not do it, so I am not pleased with this aspect.
The only worthy point the series is making is the problem with gay marriage legality, which was still unsolved in 2022, what has changed in Thailand in 2025.
Yup he was falsely accused by kinnporsche writer n the court found him not guilty ,n right after he sued that…
Did you hear why he was annoyed? BTS does not seem to show Apo behaving as a “jerk”, as he was called. So maybe this was just pointless venting for the sake of it?
People unalive themselves not because their mothers have died prematurely, but because of how their brains got wired up by maturity, which leads them having periods of deep depression, insecurity, self-esteem pitfalls, strikes of utter despair that are most dangerous.

There are dozens of series that depict “brothers” while casting actors that are not even remotely similar to each other, which is pretty annoying.
But here we have a few actors who could be bothers, but they are not in the scenario.
WHAT? Book’s character is written as a lass, so he is not interested in intimate fun? As almost always in BL series. Not believable at all. Also, the idea that they first become boyfriends and only then way later start to become intimate is completely backwards to how things happen in real life.
This tampers with the submerging into the story when you have to suspend disbelief in very basic truths of human life and relationships.
And yes, the director instructing actors to behave as cringy caricatures is not for everyone.
I am watching BL for the lads, so I might be able to survive those four episodes.
