Apo doesn’t smoke. He said it’s fake cigarettes.. you don’t know how to spot a fake smoker from a real one…
Shockingly, hemp is like some deadly sin there even though it is incomparably more safe than alcohol. I agree that Korea is maybe the most absurd about this.
1. it was not a mosquito by looks 2. it is not how it sounds, either 3. the lad would have certainly both felt and seen this fly immediately and shoo it away reflexively, so nothing else would have happened 4. the other lad was approaching as if he wanted to catch the fly by his lips and eat it
This is what happens when “romantic” cliche are too warn out so scenarists have to come up with something about as senseless still.
Apo doesn’t smoke. He said it’s fake cigarettes.. you don’t know how to spot a fake smoker from a real one…
No, it is not his business because he is normalising this deadly thing on screen. Playing cool characters with tobacco smoking is propaganda.
The same happens with alcohol becuase almost every Thai series is imprinting viewers with the idea that you have to poison yourself for any reason. And then it turns out that companies like GMMTV share, via a few steps, ownerships with a massive alcohol manufacturer company by TCC Group.
Though, to be fair, the situation with tobacco and alcohol is bad in nearly all Asian countries.
Of course, there is no way the rich family would accidentally hire the daughter of a protest leader. Staff like this is vetted very thoroughly.
The misunderstanding issue mentioned is very silly because the grandfather has chosen to behave bad towards his second son, insanely, without ever exposing that this is not his whole attitude, until his second son has become completely mad and a serial murderer. Just as his sister, so it rubs in the family. So they all are crazy.
In reality, family members in rich families have always killed each other, but it is never about a father forgetting to ever show he loves his son. It is outright about power and money.
Ambulance medics are not running and screaming in hospitals when they move patients in severe conditions. They are banned from being hysterical and spread the hysteria around, and they are bunned from running to not stumble, not fall, not crash into something and harm the patient or someone else.
Patiens in critical condition are not held in regular rooms, they are put in intensive care units (ICU). Also, if you will lie without a heartbeat for as long as the series shows, you will be at least brain damage territory, especially without chess compressions, as shown. Which is also not believable because patients in critical condition that are at risk of heart stopping are put near to both lung ventilation and chest compression equipment that would help against brain damage in the mean time.
And you would not be able to jump-seat right away after that; not even remotely.
NOT A REAL BL, but rather a BL-flavoured episodic exorcist series. The ending exposes a major but avoidable misunderstanding,…

I THINK that, to date, the best actor to have played a couple with Perth is Sant, in Love by Chance. Obviously,…
Perth and Saint were good, but they did not click as co-workers well, and then Saint went out of shape, and he was taller than Perth, so they were not meant to be a BL “couple”.
But with Santa Perth feels super comfortable and can fulfil his protective role to be warm and caring in real life, not just on the screen. Santa is internally gentle and fragile, while Saint is confident and ambitious, so Perth could not do much for him even if they were in superb personal relationships.
NOT A REAL BL, but rather a BL-flavoured episodic exorcist series. The ending exposes a major but avoidable misunderstanding, which is a lame plot vehicle.
Reminds me of countless manga, anime, cartoons, TV shows of this genre, even a couple of widely popular mystery GMMTV series from the late 2010s.
But this one is made pretty good and fun. And if you are a fun or the actor, it is totally worth to watch.
It is also interesting that the leading couple took the roles that would naturally fit them more versus their pairing, famous for its unusual setup where the smaller lad is meant to be “top”.
Production values are great. Make up is mostly good, costumes, props and set designs, music etc.
A WARNING: never substitute peas or any other legumes with fake ones made of just some protein powder because those powders most often are made of legumes. They often put legumes even in powders that are labelled whey or other proteins. Only use powders with zero legumes and a guarantee they do not use legumes for other batches on the same production line so they would be no trace amounts.
A REALITY check: see a reply with spoilers tags below.
THE NARRATIVE is also typical for GMMTV: about how rich and powerful elites — that actually rob common man — are somehow good and kind, even though it almost never reality, including young heirs. They just had a series like this in 2022: Never Let Me Go, where Phu was playing too-good-to-be-true heir.
You can in fact live your whole life being bisexual and not know it until you meet the person of your dreams.…
The science did not study demisexuals yet (you need EEG and erection sensors for that, self-reporting is invalid). Lots of orientations like this remain social/identity constructs, rather than something biological.
But this one could be even real, if the sexual attraction neural network is mostly suppressed for some reason (to be studied also). But it is at a single area, so it can not work for one gender and not another.
Thus, there is no contradiction with the science I cited, even if this type of sexual orientation will be established as a real biological variant. Especially for typical scenarios where guys live regular life with friends so they would have felt attraction right away when their puberty would have hit, not many years later.
You can in fact live your whole life being bisexual and not know it until you meet the person of your dreams.…
As I mentioned, a bi male can not all of the sudden “realise” a sexual attraction years after puberty as it is biologically impossible. You either start to feel aroused by males around the puberty time, or you not. The sexual attraction neural network will never grow any pathways after that. In fact, it is so definitive that the brain is even performing mass cut off of its potential growth capabilities, the neural network branches as it finalises itself. This makes the brain dramatically less mailiable versus what children have.
Earth was so convincing in his role that i am surprised to know he was only 29 when filming this drama, He played…
They did not have to make him this old, though. His sister could be simply noticeably older than him, so he could be 29 and be an uncle to Fourth just fine.
This would not work only if the scenario was that he had an adult son or daughter.
I just watched Never Let Me Go (2022) series, and it was incredibly stupid in nearly every of its plot events, but at least the plot events were happening.
But here, it seems, nothing is happening, not even silly things, just vibes, as you point out.
I doubt I will be able to survive this, even though the BL is about the lads, not about scripts.
Pond is playing much better than in the first series where he, being wooden, and Phu were a couple.
The initial setting was so obvious that I have immediately suspected that something will have to happen to the lad’s parents. I wish it was not made this predictably.
Is the security of the super rich so useless? Just one middle aged guy who has left his boss without protection? Not believable. Also, the whole death scene is so cartoonishly cliche.
The whole drama over Pond’s character being “secretly” sent to guard Phu’s came out of thin air. This being made in a secret is absurd as it is the most rational thing to do that Phu’s character should be understanding, he is not a capricious ten year old any more, and accept as an order to accommodate to.
And it is silly he sees this as some “trust” issue. The same as back in the day taxi drivers have got offended if you were to use seat belts as it was a sign that you are not trusting them.
Also, there is no way Pond’s fisherman character would be the only one assigned to the job. First and foremost, professionals would have been hired.
It is not believable that Phu’s character is still in need of friends at the age of 18. A good-looking and rich character would certainly have lots of friends, if he would need them as the character states. Of course, most of them would have been fake, but come would have been honest people who would have genuinely liked the lad as a friend.
The only scenario where it would have been believable if Phu’s character was a horrible and disgusting sleaze-bag, a sociopath with zero self awareness, so he would not have friends but still somehow would think he needs them without understanding why he does not have them. But this is not the character from the series.
And it is not believable that a lad from a rich family, knowing how to be around bodyguards from childhood, behaves as he sees a bodyguard for the first time and all of the sudden asks one to be his friend.
There are usually no formal dress code for teachers in universities of Thailand, but it is not believable that in a high profile institution a teacher would appear in a table cloth print shirt that is meant for plumbers or mechanics as it better covers dirt and sweat they get during their shifts.
If a finger is cut off, there would have been way more blood than shown. Also, it would not have been made with so many witnesses and a boss present. Finally, for a long while by now even casinos that are run criminally have refused to continue the old butchery practices of yore. They install fear without it.
Those who rob street peddlers are not as hardcore criminals to engage in fights with knifes against people who come to aid their victims, the risks are not worth it, so it is not believable.
Who is Pond character’s father, really? Experienced security personnel do not get frightened with an opened mouth because a motorcycle has tried to block his car.
The dynamics in this university makes no sense. It is supposed to be an elite institution so there should be plenty of rich people, so it is not believable that this one lad is getting bullied.
No, the method of thinking of a person whom you love or hate does not work for improving the accuracy of shooting. You better not think of anything but calmly aiming, taking the angle, the distance and the wind into account.
Vandalising a locker or stealing from it is a crime, and all universities by now have a camera directed at it, so it is not possible to do it clandestinely, so it is not believable that this is a mystery in the series
Stools do not fall apart when you him people with them. But actor Pawin has played the bully Phil well, he is more believable here than in his lead role a lover previously.
It is not believable that Pond’s character can not buy a new pair of shoes for sport. His father has been getting a good wage for decades at the estate of Phu’s character, but even on his own fishermen in Thailand are not as remotely as poor as long as they go out to see and get their fish. And the lad has moved to Bangkok already a while ago, and there is getting a very good salary as a bodyguard for a famously rich family.
This series has too many rich family heirs who all of the sudden do not want to carry on the business. Even a single case of that is very rare, but three at once is not believable. Their whole existence from childhood about formed about continues the legacy and the success of their fathers or mothers. And taking over their companies is a highly lucrative and prestigious position to have to a degree that there are inner fights within families if they have more than one heir.
WHAT? Phu’s character is allergic to alcohol to a point to having breathing issues? Why would he drink at all then? Why his bodyguard does not know this and does not have an inhaler with him?
WHAT? This time even three bodyguards were useless? Just how bad can they be? Not quite believable.
Pond’s character says he will never leave Phu’s, but this is a lie. He will die someday. Or either of them will stop loving him fall in love with someone else.
It makes no sense that the lads have fled to obscurity, and not to police. Thailand is not Libya after the bombings by Obama and NATO.
Phu’s character saying he does not want to eat means his neural system is on the edge after getting to this extreme stress mode, but then he is shown all of the sudden sleeping. If he has started to calm down, he first has to eat, not sleep.
Another thing that makes no sense is that that they travel Mike for twenty hours but still do not know anything about the state of Phu character’s mother, which would have been in the news.
WHAT? Pond’s character days his father will investigate and find the culprit who has ordered the assassination attempt on the lady? He did not care to do this when the rich guy was killed, but he all of the sudden care now?
By this point the events indicates that Pond’s father has colluded with the criminals. This amount of negligence does not have any other rational theory behind it.
Also, where is the police? Besides, if the guy was killed on the order of his brother, then it makes no sense because the killer did not care to kill his wife and son who were right there. And he has the time to pose theatrically before he was shot himself.
It is not believable that Phu’s character was behave like he is shown just hours after his mother was possibly killed and still not knowing her condition. The writing is bad.
Pond’s character said his mother is always fleeing from place to place but it has turned out that she is running an inn, which is the opposite to the supposed lifestyle.
To counteract excessive spiciness of food, you drink milk, not water, which does not work for this.
They gave Phu a cheap plastic pistol prop, so he is handling like a toy, not as a heavy weapon it is supposed to feel like on the screen.
100 baht a day? That is too low to be realistic. It should be 300 at least.
Turn’s out Phu character’s rich father has randomly decided to help a drunkard whom he did not know in a hospital. This not how the rich behave, and he would not even set a foot into a clinic for the plebs in the first place.
Also, the real story of Pond’s baby character needing emergency care for a life threatening incident would have been him simply dying because the father is drunk. But we see some double fantasy version. Or, rather, a triple one because the rich man has hired that random drunkard even.
And it also not believable that Pond’s character has never asked why his father works where he works.
The whole incentive for the uncle to kill his brother and his family would only work if they have had the perfect relationships so his name would have been in the brother’s will right after his immediate family members.
But if he en enemy to the brother’s widow then it would not work any more because in her will his name will not be mentioned among the inheritors of any company shares and other assets.
WHAT? The evil bully whose family went bankrupt is paying money to someone for doing evil in open daylight for everyone to see and film? The scriptwriters are doubly bad here.
WHAT? Random foreign tourists have decided to have a sudden wedding on a Thai island, even though same marriages were not legal and their families and friends would not be able to participate?
That is not how a person trying to force the killers to speak acts, and this is not how the police acts when it arrests someone. Super silly.
Before asking for a boyfriend status, Phu’s character would have intimate fun to find out if it can fundamentally workout or not. Doing it backwards is nonsensical, so it is not believable.
Why Pond’s character allowed himself to be photographed in his secret place?
Why the gangsters would want to take the lass’ camera, even though she did not photograph any of them or anything of note in the neighbourhood?
Why Pond’s character has turned his back to the gangsters? Is he insane?
Gangsters do not wear black shirts on tropical islands, they blend with everyone else, at least higher-ups.
It was really stupid that Phu’s character did not retrieve the money from the bank right away in Bangkok before fleeing, though the fleeing itself was stupid.
WHAT? Turns out Pond’s character mother is an internationally known tattoo artist. Even regionally, not even state wide known artists earn very well, so it makes no sense that she has to run a shackle style inn and run away from creditors.
WHAT? It has only took the villains five minutes to check the beaches and villas there?
Another stupid gun fight. Pond character’s mother shoots one of the killers but instead of shooting the second one she turns away her head to talk to the lads. So she was suicidal and wanted to die, apparently.
Then Pond also is acting stupid because he shoots that killer and runs to his mother without making sure that the killers are disabled.
Come on. After Pond’ character was seeing people shot left and right for a while hall of the sudden goes crazy over a woman he knew for a couple of weeks?
And here goes Thai propaganda of alcoholism as they hammer into every viewers head that you have to poison yourself with addictive alcohol if you are sad.
Another stupid plot move: getting a sleeping pill to escape, even though there was no need for that at all. Just go away when Pond’s character is sleeping, especially when drunk.
Also, breaking up is stupid. Just split apart for a while is enough. Useless drama made out of thin air.
What is the point of the genius plan to just go back as if nothing has happened and now you are all of the sudden safe and immune to ambush killer attacks, and do nothing to fight back or expose the villain?
But WOW, the lad had a bright idea to hire proper bodyguards, though not before half of his family was killed.
What is with this idiotic move by the villain to force Pond’s character to kill his lover or his mother? The villain was arranging assassinations on his own just fine before that.
WAIT, how Pond’s character was all of the sudden was able to enter a high profile clinic for the rich to a room with a super rich patient that should have guards?
WOW, the personal bodyguard has turned out to useless once again, so the mai lad was kidnapped.
There is no way to sign away your shares while being kidnapped. This requires a major setup of multiple lawyers and notary.
If this would work then the evil uncle would have kidnapped his brother in the first place.
WHY did the director force Phu’s character to violently shake shot Pond’s character? Not only this kills wounded people much faster, but it also imprints clueless viewers to behave this harmfully in their real lives.
Pond’s character refusing the compensation for his traumas is incredibly silly.
Now Pond’s character wanted to break up for no reason is even stupider than Phu’s character prior attempt.
AN INCREDIBLY stupid script in nearly every of its plot moves. But the actors save it, as well as overall production…

So all in all it is worth to watch because the BL genre is not about scripts that make sense, it is about the lads, and those are great here. And Pond has played well after being wooden in his first due with Phu (Fish Upon The Sky, 2021).
But I do wish the series would not contain any tragic events at all. Because it all is so silly that the series would look much better as a self aware farce.
1. it was not a mosquito by looks
2. it is not how it sounds, either
3. the lad would have certainly both felt and seen this fly immediately and shoo it away reflexively, so nothing else would have happened
4. the other lad was approaching as if he wanted to catch the fly by his lips and eat it
This is what happens when “romantic” cliche are too warn out so scenarists have to come up with something about as senseless still.
OF COURSE, this all is super cute.

Black nails on corpses do not mean poison.

Black nails on corpses do not mean poison.
But with Santa Perth feels super comfortable and can fulfil his protective role to be warm and caring in real life, not just on the screen. Santa is internally gentle and fragile, while Saint is confident and ambitious, so Perth could not do much for him even if they were in superb personal relationships.
Though, to be fair, the BL genre is almost entirely about the lads, so this many drawbacks in multiple areas of the production are acceptable usually.
This would not work only if the scenario was that he had an adult son or daughter.
But here, it seems, nothing is happening, not even silly things, just vibes, as you point out.
I doubt I will be able to survive this, even though the BL is about the lads, not about scripts.

But the actors save it, as well as overall production values besides the scriptwriting. Also, it is not boring, which is a major plus. it is much better to have silly stuff happening than nothing happening at all as in many other series.
