It’s wrongly translated. The term used here is ‘先生’, a polite way of calling Mister…but of course that Chinese words can be machine translated to ‘husband’ as the machine doesn’t know the context of how the term is used🤦🏻‍♀️.

Here there are only six realms, lower and upper realms based on the realms wealth and power; and people / creatures can obtain cultivation powers if they have spiritual veins. They don’t live forever like most immortals in XianXia world. So this story is classified more of a XuanHuan.
