Ah Strange Tales of Liao Zhai is fun, I like some of the story. One of the story was adapted to movie, ‘Painted Face’, really like that one;). Never again, it was a torture to mange to finish Dream of Red Mansion😓. Journey of the West is also one of my favorite read in younger days…hahaha. Now you can guess my age. Light On seems interesting…is that a confusing read? IMO writing Sci-fi depends on the writers’ skills, it can be too dry and confusing if the author can’t describe the concept and world well😓.
