I know JiLing is a fake Long Shen, but where have the original Chi Wan missing to?

Okay, I have to ask a naive question after watching this far…Is the dragon deity/ Long Shen/Chi Wan the 9th dragon? So how is he related to the 10th dragon? He can’t live with the 10th dragon being born right?
The more I watched, the more I am confused with the earlier information that I thought I understood😅.

Nope as of latest ep., my understanding is Wu Shi Guang is the 10th dragon, Chi Wan’s brother. JiLing is the fox, which we are still not sure why he is doing the stand in for Chi Wan. He is just using the ring power.
It’s not reveal yet where is the real Chi Wan.

So I was right, it’s a sequel and not just a re-make. But of course they make it a point to show flashbacks so for those who didn’t watch the first season can understand the story. Ep 1 is good, love the pacing. I have to come back later to watch the rest, got some work to do😅.

But I still prefer Shawn Dou’s Yan Xun, it’s a personal bias. lol.
Huangyang Tian Tian’s Chu Qiao is great! She is bright eye and very natural, love her acting.

My favourite part in the book too…it’s them being mutually honest to each other😍.

I am speculating that the real LongShen has yet come out and it’s acted by Wang Duo based on cast list. So the current JiLing is a stand in for some reasons which we don’t know yet. But who knows, GJM may again mislead us😅.

By ep 15, we know that Yuan XiZai has JiLing’s face. So we don’t know who is actually Li Jie yet. But for sure the current JiLing is not LongShen. And Wu ShiGuang is actually the last flood dragon. Villian is for sure the nine headed snake, JiuYing.
That’s GJM for you…twist and twist.
