Can understand why some viewers who watches the animation felt that Wu Jing may not have the vibe for that main character. However I am keen to see how it’s done in the movie;).

The 7th Prince is a follower, and the 9th Prince although much smarter, still reckless…really need a senior minister to beat their buttocks to wake up their ideas. That old guy may not be a good person but should never be make the enemy.

This drama has a lot of cliche romance tropes but done right by both our leads and it’s bearable even though we have seen these tropes countless times. We also know FL is in the novel and she is really not a love brain. Now we are moving into the final arc, where ML pursues and FL dodges, as she is afraid that her time with ML is too short. Hope this doesn’t drag…😅
Its ridiculous. He would have been killed dead just for carrying a knife into a meeting with an emperor, regardless…
And yes! How did he even manage to carry a knife into palace court???!!! The script is really trying very hard to give Wian Hing Chu an impactful role😓. But it’s not very well portrayed here.
That scene where Qian Hong Chu confronted the Khitan King at court and stabbed Zhang Yan Zhe is fictional right? It’s amazing that he can get away not being beheaded with that act even though he was meant to be heroic. I wonder would that scene feels different if it was a younger actor. Making Bai Yu acts young and reckless, is a little unbelievable.😅
