XZY does have good friends, e.g. his business partner, Mr Gong who is more than a partner but a friend, and he does seem to have a healthier perspective in relationship, eg. how his staff respects him, however I felt he intentionally stayed detached as he is focused on his goals to uncover his father’s death and he doesn’t want others to be to attach to him until he met HuXiu. So far we can see by the characterization presented that XZY can sense HX’s needs when he is attuned to it. But yes, PZ is much more unhealthy in that aspect, see how he kept imposing onto HX and not considering her discomfort. For him, it’s what he thought he wants and not how others feel…probably learnt from his narcissistic father.
