I did drop at ep 22. But randomly looking at some clips and comments, then today decided to watch the ending😅. And I honestly felt I didn’t miss much. I do think the acting are all good, but just couldn’t take the story.

Now BingZhu has to live with his lover’s face but knowing he can never love more then beyond as it’s Tan Er’s soul in Pian Pian’s body.🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️This story is actually terribly written, trying to take all the typical tropes of XianXia and piece it together with a sad ending for the sake of sad ending.How is it healthy for FL to live in her happy memories and avoid accepting reality? And is it necessary for ML to atone so many years of his one bad mistakes and yet ended sacrifices his life?
This should be named as The Sunken Soul. lol!

It’s a lovely to see couples who are in love to share small gestures of physical touch, it’s healthy relationship😍. If you ever watch “Road Home”, they are matured couples with lots of everyday simple gestures that make one believe they are really a couple, nicely done😍.

Yup, saw that scene. Much better, appropriate music set up the mood and both leads were natural and relax. Good atmosphere setting for such scenes, I am going to say it’s “The Best Thing”😍.
