Agreed, in the past YLX has little emotions and attachment to love as she has never experience it. But CD and his friends changed her, hence she was a lot kinder and the negotiation went well, so it didn’t became a blood bath. Yup, I do want to believe that GS became half a shadow puppet hence he can also travel both worlds and DL more likely follow him and live in the desert. Was wondering how much can you explore in the desert…hahhaa. But it’s a complete and HE. Good drama.
Most hilarious but the best title, ‘….the rooster indeed is the king’. I love the witty writing from the author, with the use of symbolic Chinese icon in creative ways. In a whole, it’s a rather refreshing fantasy story. The snake, scorpion and rooster, then the paper dolls and of course the beautiful desert, where much mystery is still hidden.

Yes, what you mentioned make sense. Such great build up and fell flat at the last few ep. as things happen too fast. There is definitely love btwn LongZhi and JiangZhan, hence he was so affected by guilt that he chose to end his life.

I know what you mean, I just finished. Was kind of expecting more events to happen, however the war was just a very small scene and the agreement between the families were settled quite fast. Anti-climatic indeed.
Hugzzz, honestly if you watch on, the hurt doesn’t get better and we get invested deeper which hurts. But we are all here to suffer the ending together.

She saves everyone, including JiangZhan, however he couldn’t bear his own betrayal and suicide. The whole plot by LongZhi was such a wasted effort, and I didn’t quite get her situation with JiangZhan. Seems like the Long family someday May still riot, but would they honor the treaty with YLX? And for three year peace, if YLX leaves the place, would they scheme again? Or after this all the families decided to make peace. Just felt it was such a great build up however ending a little mediocre. So even without LZ’s involvement, YLX will reach this goal or maybe not so kind? Overall, I enjoyed NiNi and BY’s chemistry, very natural, healthy and mature. BY’s character is such a nice guy and NiNi is like a Wonder Woman. Then GS become a paper person, how does that work in his relationship with a human girl. I think Fatty has the best deal of all.
