Not a popular opinion: I pity BXS…plot says fall in love with YH, he felt in love…plot says try to break them apart, he tries to be annoying and do all sorts of things to create problems…plots says act pitifully to get YH’s sympathy…and he does. Can’t there be a more tasteful and intelligent SML? I really like how BXS is in the beginning. lol.

It’s resolved very quickly. The sweetness will follow soon.

Heard that there is season 2? Is it just a rumor? Any idea?

From a love story sense, it is a sad ending. As the couple is not together.

I see it as an open ending but happy. Because TTJ’s legacy will be remembered and he is happy of his choice and taking fate in his own hands to destroyed the DG. And he has also become God, so God won’t come back after they die. I don’t think he will come back, he left his memories in the heart protection scale for LSS. There are other viewers with different take in it. The novel ends differently too. So how do you see it?

He said something about “…this is very interesting, I am very happy, everyone here is very warm, I am very excited by it…” Is this a promotion or he is meeting fans?

LSS in her goddess form is prepared to die with TTJ after knowing his intention. TTJ asked her to let go, she said “no, she won’t let go.” He replied “okay”. She fainted after she exerted power to crack the devil bone. TTJ used the ‘heart protecting scale’ to protect her so she won’t be harm. Then he self-sacrificed.
So when LSS woke up at the tombstone and realised what TTJ has done, she said “You lied to me again.” TTJ lied on letting her to die with him.
Hope this clarify. It happened fast so easily missed on these details.

LSS is preparing to die with the DG TTJ. So she thought it’s time to say goodbye and do their last deed in TTJ Bore dream.
Yes, hence in last ep., LSS will understand and regret deeply.

I am sure IQIYI cash in big time for LIS after TTEOTM. Noticed how quickly they were advertising it just before TTEOTM ends. I re-watched LIS after this too. And many here also went there. IQIYI is pretty smart foreseeing this would happen.

Yes! LIS is the modern life TTJ and LSS. A must watch after TTEOTM.😍

I thought he does quite a good portrayal of his character for ‘Hu Tong’ acting along side with Zhao Lusi. A post war, historical drama.

Yeah! TTEOTM is not the usual commercialise drama that can be like by everybody. I feel it’s the perception of the viewers that play a big part. If you watch for a good story and acting, one will totally understand this drama and love it. But if you watch it for searching of a break from reality and happiness, this may not cut it.
For me, this drama still have a lot of lingering effect and I enjoyed re-visiting and discussing it. Drama that gets me thinking is inspirational to me.

That will be interesting. And how he was indebted to Tian Huan’s father and having to take care of such a spoilt brat.

Yes! LYX in more Rom-com! He does have a great comedic sense but not shown enough. His subsequent projects are all so serious😅.
