Long story short: YXW is fragment of LSS’s past 500 yrs ago. That universe 1.0, YXW tortured TTJ, who dies and completed the journey to be the demon god, that attacks LSS sect and killed them all. So LSS is transported back to her past self, to YXW, which they merged in order to change a new universe 2.0 which is happening now. So the previous YXW was evil because it was an incomplete fragment of her soul (long story, think the drama will reveal it later) So once merge LSS took over and starts to change the new pathway for TTJ.

Cang Ju Ming. TTJ will be using this name after this mortal arc. Watch on, didn’t want to give too many unnecessary spoiler ;)

So agreed. AOL was the other drama with epic fight scenes but I guess back then the CGI wasn’t that great. Hence the scenes here look so much better.

Yes! Such high quality fight scenes filmed well need both actors and director to coordinate the sequence well and excite the moves smoothly. So the audience can follow and won’t feel disconnected. And there wasn’t overuse of CGI. For a XianXia, felt this is by far one of the best IMO.

Re-watched ep 20. Love the fight scene. Comparing it with MY and the demon god, I must say again LYX is such a versatile actor! He executed the strokes so well, can obviously see the differences between MY and TTJ’s style. The director also filmed most fight scenes well, can clearly follow it, captivating!

This is the line from YXW/LSS right? You know at which point she will say this?

In the novel, it was Chu Huang’s. YBC was supposed to help deliver it but decided to keep for herself. In the drama, it’s change to PR’s love thread, which YBC obtain by accident. It will be explained later.

Yes, I do believe there will be lots of bittersweet moments tomorrow then once we reached the nail and tower scene, it will be anguish for a while. So next week is a good guess.

Looking at the calendar, we have the nail scene, the tower scene, followed by his desperation to become CJM. Maybe or likely they may only meet again end of this week or early next week?

My take on TTJ and YXW/LSS’s romance so far: they both don’t know what’s love. TTJ is like an infant, learning and trying to understand, can’t be help as he has an evil bone, so takes longer time to grow. And LSS is just as clueless, not knowing her own feelings. And hold such a heavy responsibility to stop world destruction. They both lack of trust and of course would jump to conclusion easily as both have traumatic past. Hence sure bound to break up and deserve a second chance. It’s quite different from MY and SJ’s arc.
I am prepared to press on their tragic break and wait for their next reconciliation.
