I feel that the script written here had to downplay the commander’s background and history, so it diluted her motives and reasons to destroy human kind.

Nice happy ending. But can’t help to feel sad for the SML. The journey romance between ML and FL was satisfying and genuine. Not a complicated story. The Emperor was funny in his own ways, quite bipolar in emotions. It’s kind of nice that this drama doesn’t take itself too seriously. The only complaint I had is that they could have done better with the FL’s make up as some lighting make her look weird. She is pretty in person however some angle in this drama makes her look ugly.

Yeah, was also wondering why the over emphasis on religion, probably because it’s always a taboo in China.

Hahaha…the frequent flashback was a drag in the beginning. I literally watched it in fast forward mode. ;) glad there is a season 2, hopefully like you mentioned that they could improve in the story telling.

The SML is adorable too! Somehow wish he could be with FL instead.

Just started the ep1., the humor is hilarious! Love the FL, she is so so cool, fit her role! Her ML is also funny. Impressive costume set. Think I can binge this through since it’s only 12 ep😊.

Ah yes. It was hinted that he killed her, but actually she killed herself. But I am sure he has a part in it.

Just started this, realised J-drama’s MLs are always super skinny, guess that’s their trend. I love the FL’s character - simple yet not dumb, direct yet not insensitive.
Only 10 ep, but guess the release date will be slow.
