Don’t overthink when watching c dramas, it’s def not Savings Private Ryan, have you watched POJ (one of my top rewatch dramas) when ManDi dies they also did group gathering in the middle of the war,. You would have thought one or two would drag the fallen comrade (if situation permitted) to safety / find nearest medic while others cover to retreat.

I think I snoozed too that’s why I never finished this drama even though many raved abt it. I need to give it another try.

I remember reading how great Cheng Lei was in this show (I really like him in female general, how dare you & shadow love) , but I didn’t realise he was in this drama as SML that how unmemorable it was for me. I need to revisit the show from beginning again, maybe I will like it this time

Open ending? So need to wait for second season, right? There are many c dramas that have unsatisfying ending. I don’t know what’s wrong with the scriptwriters. They wrote the front part so wonderfully then drop you off the cliff with the ending 😞
