Hahaha there are a few weird scripts like that, the other one is when she cried for extended period of time for Ye, I totally understand they are bestie but being a newly married (&supposedly in love couple) you would prioritise your collapsing, exhausted hubby from war over bestie. When I saw the scene I am no longer in tears but giggling. However most dramas have some quirks like this, eg in POJ (which is a great show), the moment Changyu doing extended group gathering / crying over Mandi in the middle of messy war and managed not to get stabbed by all these surroundings are a bit unreal.
