She wasn’t like that in novel, Yuke couldn’t have baby for years so concubine Wu was presented as breeding cow, but she lost the baby at later stage of pregnancy. She looked up to Tingyun, not a family breaker. Later on she managed to leave Yu family and remarried a carpenter.
The drama is not the same, making me anxious.

This is your choice, everyone is entitles to their own preferences. If you don’t mind, I suggest to try to watch more eps, however, I also find some torturing / nasty scenes (esp on the leads) very stressful, thus I fast forward whatever scenes I dislike and watch scenes that I like.

I agree, in the novel they get married somewhere in the middle of the book & together they built a home & career progression. Everytime Lady Yu saw FL with child, she will drools & getting more upset with the daughter in law. I want to see this too
