Best chinese movie so far
Okay so let me start by saying that this movie rocked hardcore. It was one of the best chinese movies I've seen in a long time and I've seen a lot of Chinese movies. First of all, the CGI. Any well seasoned historical c-drama watcher is probably aware of how bad the CGI in their dramas and movies usually are. Dont get me wrong we all love our flying characters and all but I'm pretty sure we've all gotten second hand embarrassment from sometimes watching those CGI involved scenes but the special effects here blew me away. Thats all I was talking about even after the movie was over and the people who watched it with me couldn't understand why but I'm sure you guys would. It was on point! The wings, oof the dark wings on Crimson Bird was the greatest thing ever. Hell Crimson Bird was the best character ever, all shirtless and long haired and badass! Second the acting, oof the casting was perfect! Everyone played their roles so perfectly well you could not picture another actor playing it, Deng Lun with his arrows dressed head to toe in dark leather is forever my weakness because damn but the man can play a cold emotionless character so very well which brings me to Mark Chao, I'm biased because I personally love the man as an actor but he also played his role so very well, he was the perfect polar opposite of Lun's character and the man with long flowy dark hair is just perfection, nothing more. Their little developed bromance toward the end was crazy adorable. I would've loved it so very much if the Mad Painter had a slightly bigger role just because I wanted to stare at Xua Kai just a little bit longer, the painted flowers on his face was the best idea they came up with. The movie itself was unceasingly well executed, easy to comprehend and follow because there wasnt an unnecessary amount of side characters taking away screen time and distracting the viewers. The action scenes were badass and the costumes were crazy appealing not to mention the make up. Overall this movie was a really great one in my opinion and I definitely recommend it. Closing note: I really love the actress who played the empress. She killed it.comWas this review helpful to you?

Okay so I saw this coming but I wanted to believe otherwise. Edward park is a conniving bastard and I hope he gets what he deserves, excuse my French. This was one of the best drama I've watched in a while. I went on a drama hiatus a few weeks ago because I have finals coming up soon and I needed to focus on those instead of dramas so I haven't watched any in a while but I had to break that hiatus because of Vagabond. First of all Lee Seung Gi played Cha Dal-gun like a champ, I was captivated by that character on the first episode. I knew that stubbornness was going to bring him to places and I was right. Lee Seung gi is generally an amazing actor but I think this was hands down one of his best role, it was played amazingly. The drama in general was well written, well produced, the scenes captivating and heart arresting especially episode 12, that was hands down the best episode of the entire drama, they did such an amazing job with that episode. Now I knew eventually those conniving a-holes would turn my Cha Dal-gun into a spycho and I was right. I loved it tho. He became such a badass yo and I think the only person who really understood what Chal was made of was the president when he said "I don't think you'll be struck dead even by lighting." My mans is undefeatable and won't go six feet under until he kicks they asses to hell and back. Lowkey looking forward to the second season. As for Edward I knew that evil son of a gun was too helpful, I saw it coming a mile away, especially with Micky but I was living in denial, I really hope Chal ends up kicking his butt to hell like he did with Jerome. I cant' wait to see what's coming but I'm still protesting that ending because it was utter bull.

I like season 2 much much more than I did s1. Well Intended love one is the reason why I fell in love with Asian dramas in the first place so I won't talk too much crap about it. I had seen the trailer late one night when I was scrolling through Facebook and the rest, as they say, is history. What I hated the most about season 1 was the acting, especially from the FL. It was just so meh and bland and uninteresting but they all stepped up their game in s2. I loved everything about it. How the characters changed but somehow still stayed the same. I especially liked how Wen Li changed. He went from being distant and almost cold to a warm, dorky character, he has the cutest dimples. I also liked how the bromance between Wen Li and his boss was more developed, for lack of better words. They were a lot closer in s2 than s1 and that made me happy. All in all, s2 was a success in my eyes and I def see myself watching it again in the future. One last thing I'd like to mention is the fashion porn. My god whoever was the stylist this time deserved a goddamn raise! I'm a sucker for clothes and shoes and s2 had it in spades. I was lowkey salivating over almost all the outfits Mumu and Jia Fei wore. That stylist knew how to get the job done. Was this review helpful to you?

Gosh, I don't even know where to begin with this drama. It hadn't been on my PTW list long before I decided to watch it because it sounded really interesting, to be honest, and I was not disappointed. This drama was written so freaking well if it wasn't for the time travel aspect involved I would have sworn it was based on a true story. The acting was simply mindblowing to start with. Every single time Huang Yu Xuan cried for her missing boyfriend my heart broke for the poor woman and I wanted to give her a hug and Alice Ke played the role so damn well you have thought she really was mourning the loss of her boyfriend for reals for reals. She truly conveyed the feelings of someone who's completely lost and doesn't know what to do without her love beside her. Every single thing she did in the drama after her boyfriend went missing was relatable. She mourned him, visited their favorite places, cussed him out, missed him, cried for him and the list goes on. Then she even upped her game some more when she started playing Chen Yan Ru. God my heart especially broke during the very last scene when she truly wanted to die because she was just tired of it all, to be able to play two different characters in the same drama yet excel at making them both come to life is not something that's easy but she managed to do just that and she did it amazingly. I never connected with a drama character before as I had with Chen Yan Ru at that moment. The only character I had ever connected with like that was Go Eun Chan in Coffee Prince. All the characters in this drama were written so very well you could personally connect with them and their struggles. The chemistry between not only the leads but just the others as well was just outstanding, they all came together and you could truly believe they knew each other and were close in real life. The story was absolutely beautiful, well thought of, so very well written and acted out, the scenery gorgeous and the OST just breathtaking. It's incredibly hard to come across well-written dramas now but this one truly took the cake and will forever be on top five list. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama had so much potential i knew it after episode 1. It had the potential to be amazing if only they hadn't rushed through it. The story was strong, the characters well developed, the chemistry was on point, the acting was fairly decent and the cast was pretty good but they rushed it and it crashed and burned. If this drama had at least 20 episodes instead of 6 then the impact would've been much better. A second season if it's coming would be kind of unnecessary and pointless bcuz im pretty sure everyone would be able to guess what would happen. All in all it was a good drama, made me laugh, had its aww moment. I wouldn't rewatch it but it was good. Was this review helpful to you?

Let me start by saying that I now think L is a real-life angel. That how convincing he was. So I really didn't mean to start watching this drama just like that. I had been planning to sit down, get some popcorn and start watching it as a normal human being should but I finished Goblin and I was still sad about the fact that I wouldn't be able to laugh at Kim Shin and Reaper antics anymore so I just went online picked the first thing I saw and started watching it and that's how I fell in love. I started watching this kinda late at night and before I knew it, it was 7 in the morning and I was waiting for episode twenty to load, rocking the whole raccoon look. I loved, loved, loved, loved this drama. It's definitely on my top five list. I learned a few things from watching this. One: Kim Dan is absolutely adorable and is an amazing actor. Two: That man can fall asleep anywhere with no worries whatsoever. Three: Lee Yeon Seo is also an amazing actress, she kicked butts with the whole ballerina thing, I mean I don't know crap about ballet but after watching her I wanted to find out more about it. One of my favorite character as well was Ji Kang Woo. I mean there wasn't a specific thing I loved about him. I just loved him. I legit think there should be a movie focused on him and he should play a dark archangel because I believe he would completely kick ass at it. I also wanna know who their stylists were because they had the most beautiful outfits. I was salivating the whole time I was watching cuz I wanted almost all the outfits the female characters wore and on that note, I wanna know who cut Geum Ru-Na bob cuz that haircut was badass yo, I loved it so much I have decided to cut my hair and get a bob. Overall, this drama was amazing and I see myself watching it again in a few months. Was this review helpful to you?

So this was my first drama I've watched and I was pretty excited if I'm honest. This drama started it all. I had seen a clip of it on Facebook and I immediately fell in love with it so I found myself watching it and I loved it. The story was good, the songs were as well. But the main actress was terrible. I dont usually like the bash others when they do their jobs because I dont know what they have to do to get it done or what they're going through but she was awful. Everyone else shined. They played their roles amazingly but she was meh. I loved the main actor, he played his role very well. Like I said the drama was amazing. It had twist and turns that I did not see coming like the fact that she wasnt really sick, it was all a ruse. And I also kinda found it romantic that he fell in love with her first and he wanted to do anything to be with her, I mean he was in love with her for 2 years. It was kinda creepy but romantic. One of my favorites was the bad guy though. I hated him but I loved him all the same. His acting made me shiver. In overall it was a pretty good drama. Was this review helpful to you?
