They really wrapped up the show really well within 12 eps, but tbh it was rushed. solid 7.5/10 for me (i was going to give it 8/10 but the use of AI throughout this beautiful show really pissed me off)

According to the folk tale, Jaringobi was so incredibly stingy that he didn't want to spend money on side dishes to eat with his rice. To solve this, he hung a dried yellow croaker (gulbi) from the ceiling of his dining room. Instead of actually eating the fish, he would take a spoonful of plain rice, look up at the hanging fish to "imagine" the salty taste, and continue eating his rice. There is even a famous part of the story where he scolds his son for looking at the fish twice in one meal, shouting, "It's too salty! Stop looking at it so much!"
