I hope not, my wish is, that it will be picked up by Netflix.
I really love that Netflix is inclusive. Their content comes from all over the world, where as Iqiyi and Viki only have series and movies from asia.
Even though I love series and movies from asia, I want to suppport and protect the filmindustri in my country and region aswell, by having Netflix I get to support it all. As a european, this is important to me.
I read it twice already .its really catchy like you cnt even get bored for a second lol
RIGHT!
Besides, reading it again, might bring back some moments... I tend to forget, what I have just read, not long after, so it will be fun to see, what I have forgotten 🤣
Just saw a post that the second male lead is going to be Wang Zihao (Mikael) and the third male lead is going to be Tian Xuning.... I'm not sure if it's confirmed yet.

I think it's the point of this episode, that they all leave emty handed after working... The point is to build up a drama, so they have a goal to inspire too....Just wait until the next episode.
first episode wasnt what i expected... barely shown them work at the different restaurants they were assigned…
In the previous seasons of Chinese Restaurant, the concept has been to open a chinese restaurant to share the culture of chinese food. This season it's a bit different, because they actually start from scratch. In the previous seasons, they had a full function kitchen, in this season, they are not only opening a restaurant, but they have to start from scratch. They have to gather plates, tables etc. They are entreprenuer in the first episodes.
Let's not be to quick to judge, we're just at the intro videos. From what I saw from the behind videos/pictures, this show should be a lot of fun.
The whole cast just woke up after a long flight, they all had jetlag, let's give them the benefit of the doubt. I loved the girls photo session, by the sea.
I want Shen Yue to get a very good drama and hit 10k index. I feel so sad that her dramas are not doing well,…
"Love In Pavilion" is doing great. "The Comic Bang" is mostly for manga lovers, so don't be worried. "The Great Dreamer" is a whole other type of drama.
The popularity of the first day of broadcast was high, and the ratings of the three networks were the first! The cumulative number of hot searches on the entire network was 696+, EP01 Weibo main list hot searches
EP01 Weibo main list hot searches 25, entertainment list 33, and 6 of the top 10 hot searches on the main list! 😱
Related topics frequently went viral, with all platforms discussing the partners’ working adventures;
mainstream media published articles praising the new example of international expression of Chinese stories; the Chinese Embassy in Morocco highly recommended it, and it was hotly discussed on multiple foreign platforms! 😎😎
There are many, who watch this series, that don't understand, that it's adapted from a manga and review it as a comedy, romance, which it kind of is, but isn't at the same time. It's true to the humor and comic of the orignal work. So it will be Goofy and funny, but the actress/actors are serious in their acting, so the characthers are very easy to love.
The only thing I don't like is Jie Yue's extrem laughing. It could have been turned down a notch, but other than that, I loved it.
Do you think this one will be better than the Comic Bang ? I only watched half of the episodes, didnt like it…
You can't compare "The Comic Bang" and "The Great Dreamer."
"The Comic Bang" is adapted from the manga "Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun" (月刊少女野崎くん ) by Izumi Tsubaki (椿泉). It's very manga coded "Goofy, funny etc:", which it's suppose to be, so maybe you are just not into mangas.
"The Great Dreamer" is adapted from a web novel and it brings light on some issues we have in todays sociaty, such as, family problems, violence, sexual assault and depth, with a great romance, which safe both Xia Xia and Xie Huai

The only Wang Hao I could find on mydramalist, which has "Director" on his worklist is "Wang Hao Nan".
