Japanese dramas generally only do once a week. I think this is becauses they are usually much shorter than Korean or Chinese dramas.

Seems she has been getting a lof the "short" style drama roles. Hopefully she expands out from there!

The ice skating scenes as references are pretty good.

It doesn't have any relation to the drama. Its just one of those instances where an artist releases a song and its also used as a "theme" song for the drama which helps promote both the drama and the artist.

Imada Mio is one of my favorites! I'm excited. I've watched a couple of Ji Chang Wook's works and all have been pretty good too!

Another thing to note besides what some the other comment says is Japanese dramas still tend to be heavily rely on fansubs rather than official subs released by a company. Its changing slowly but some broadcasters aren't as interested in licensing their content abroad. In additional, a lot of the "historical" dramas or period pieces can be quite long dramas. Notable examples include the "Taiga" dramas from NHK which can be around 50 episodes. Its a lot of work to put in to make subs for 50 episodes especially when a typical Japanese drama might only be 6-12 episodes. Another thing about subs if they do exist is fansubbers do not appreciate all the illegal streaming sites making money by taking their hard-work and posting it on their sites as their own. Depending on the subber, they might only be released as a hardsub or released on a site with restrictions.

Haven't been following the drama scene too closely in recent months. I was suprised to see this one airing currently. Remember this one being pending for the longest time

Interesting that Chuu is in it. Her last acting project was "Dating Class. " I thought she did a good job in that one.

Its not available yet. Available on Prime video on July 11th but not sure if its for all regions or only for Japan ( most likely Japan only).

Bare minimum is probably around 6 months for a streaming , BD, or DVD release for RAW. Maybe a little more for a subber.

I belive its mainly because when news about casting and the drama first comes out, the English Title is more of a literal translation of Korean title. Later on, they always change the English title to something else. How they choose to do so though, beats me.

Most production companies won't admit this openly. Reality shows always have some kind of "steering" going on behind the scenes to make sure they get enough footage or so the production company gets what they want. So while not "scripted" as in they have a line by line script, they might be recommended to do certain things.

S1 was better in my opinion. At least there were more twists and I think the winner truly deserved to win. Winner also used the prize money and gave gold coins as gifts to all the participants and staff
