I think actually that was his fate all along and like the Deity explained XXC was actually a mere spactator of what transpired in the past,like a loop type...he already done it so the outcome was pre-set...He believed he was changing stuff yet he was going acording to fate.Just like the Deity was waiting for him,as someone saw the outcome a long time ago...He never went crazy the first time,all the other clans considered it that he went on the kill spree because they coundn't explain it otherwise or that he was possessed by a Dark Clan member while he never remembered it as he never lived it himself...

Guys , do u know if they are cutting or not airing scenes we're shown in the previews? Like again this time the scene were LR and PWX realize that SRQ is back as well talking about all the hints he gave...They shown it in the trailer for ep 23 and in the actual episode was nowere to be seen....

Well,frankly we don't know what happend to him in the first timeline, i hint he died soon after or took his life and came back more or so after the Spring Banquet in the current lifetime... We still have to see if he truly killed her or we get a twist with it as LR just decided that was what happened after PWX tossed that theory...And if he indeed was the one more than sure he killed himself because i quite think he also loved her in his own way(i also think their big regret is a big part of them coming back to their youth)
So from the very few info about this show looks like it's based on a webtoon and it's not about shamans in the known sense but a special agent protecting a IDOL group into a futuristic Korea... Kinda bummed if it's indeed true...Expected something along the lines of Reverent...
