i think it's because he wears knuckle dusters when fighting.
Knuckle dusters or not, the sound effects are horrible and don't fit the grounded and more realistic setting. Those overdone punching sounds fit more to action-comedies like The Naked Gun, Scott Pilgrim or Deadpool.
Having them in a supposed serious drama immediatelly warps the tone in a very bad way
The Killing Vote is an absolutely horrible idea and system, that's from conception just rife with problems. That's…
I think we'll have to agree to disagree.
I'm all for accountability, and the need to overhaul executive and judical systems but I really disagree about the Killing Vote being a wake up call or a spotlight for accountability.
Because the vote is inherently revenge driven and based on personal grievances and displays rather a lack of accountability for everyone. No matter If it's Gaetal, the voters or even the criminal victims. Because murdering the criminals makes them 1)victims themselves and 2) removes any chance of holding them accountable.
And don't forget, it's not the politicians and chaebols and actual powerful people responsible for the failing systems that are watched and possible vote victims.
The actual ones watched/killed are criminal common people. The show had 3 utterly horrible people with basically No motive except narcissm/sociopathy but those are in actuality only a very minor percentage. Most are made by unfair systems and circumstances (systematic racism leading to a lack of Future leading to crimes/failing social systems and abused/....)
Wow, I was extremely disappointed when I found out that Lee Min Soo is one of the Geatals. I supported the idea…
The Killing Vote is an absolutely horrible idea and system, that's from conception just rife with problems. That's why there was the school bullying scene inspired by the vote. To act as a mirror. Because the only ones who really profit from something like that are the already powerful and/or people who already enjoy to crush people.
Regarding Minsoo: I actually like the idea. Because it adds another level of tragedy to KSJ. And this time because of his own doing. If he unintentionally worked with the actual murderer it's just so tragic and shows how blinded he is in his thirst for revenge.
What u mean? If you a new viewer lots hv been explained earlier, as we are now in ep. 7
That's just a standard main character thing. And happens in shows in every country.
The senior recognizing the teacher is getting explored in the episodes now. And don't forget, that it's a mystery show where things are often explained later. And it's very possible that Gaetal has ties to the police or that the Main detective has his own goals.

It doesn't matter that Moo Chan left the hospital. That didn't blow his cover. Students had filmed the car explosion and the video showed the FL helping him away from the car. And the teacher bought the video off the students. And the teacher is involved in the dark web browser (Loki). That's what blew his cover.
And regarding the teacher: In the Gaetal case there was no hint for the official police Investigation that he was involved in the early days. Teaching at the school the police chose to drive to is not evidence. And regarding NaRae: that's getting shown now.
Honestly i don't want it to be Ji-Hoon, it's way to obvious and kinda unrealistic that an 18 year old could organize…
Just compare the 3rd vote (doctor) with the first one. The body shape is a lot different (slighter, smaller shoulders...) and even the disguised voice sounds a lot different and a lot more feminine.
He got the case after the girl got killed..when the girl got kidnapped, it is another team..thats why the drug…
Yes, I know. Which I already stated.
But in the car scene in Ep3 Joo Hyun said: "I just remembered. You were in charge of the case since KSJ's daughter was kidnapped. You were in the house. You already knew where the test video was filmed."
And now we know through Ep7 that this was a wrong statement and Team 1 was in charge of the kidnapping and He only got involved after her murder.
I think it's a very interesting aspect only 4 episodes apart. Was that a mistake by JH who remembered it wrongly that KMC intentionally doesn't correct or false information in the case files?
It may be not the most important aspect, but it's really interesting that even these small interactions and scenes that already reveal a new information (that KMC already knew where the test video was filmed) are even more layered and part of the unreliable narration.
Rewatching Ep3, Joo Hyun stated on the way to KSJ that KMC was in charge of the Na Rae case since her kidnapping. But Ep7 shows that that was not the case.

they spoilt it from episode 3, Ji Hoon said "he gone so far with this", about KMC deceiving the public
That's Ji Hoon knowing Moo Chan.
But I mean the reverse: Moo Chan knowing that Ji Hoon, the student, is the child that KSJ wanted to adopt. (Meaning that he kept an eye in him throughout the years)
In ep6 during the confrontation with JJW KMC's facial expression twitched a few times. E.g. When he was asked what he would do if it happened to his family and also when he saw Ji Hoon injured. That's a very strong reaction for a kid he met once, even if he cares about innocents. Especially when the other instance of this mask slip occured when asked about his own loss/pain/rage (unknown family or Na Rae or both).
And when he was asking KSJ he seemed more interested in his reactions instead of really waiting for an answer.
Amazing visuals. The acting was good, with the potential to be great (I mean it is Sol Kyunggu and D.O.) but sadly the acting and overall story were dragged down by very overdramatic melodrama.
And tbh the switching between space, Korean Aerospace and NASA was so uncohesive. Especially the NASA part.
An Lee Sung Min appearance is always appreciated and great.
What if this is all planned by KMC? The drama keep giving hints since episode 2. And his character is the only…
He is IMO the most likely candidate regarding the mastermind.
He is overall in the best position regarding knowledge (KSJ, MJY, dropped cases, forensics...), abilities (smart, charismatic, years on the Job...) and possible motive (his old regrets/guilt...).
People are saying in Korean Naver..the tone is the same with the teacher's mom
Interesting. My theory was the grandma. With Ji Hoon down an arm with an obvious cast, he seems to be the most likely person that needed a short term replacement in the role of Gaetal.
And while MJY certainly wants to use Gaetal/TKV, it doesn't seem likely she is that involved
But how would KSJ find out? He believed BWT was the killer when he killed him (with 22 stabs. That takes a lot…
But so far they seem more antagonistic towards each other, almost seemingly testing each other.
So I don't think that KSJ and KMC work together. So If KMC found proof, I still don't think that KSJ knows about it (and uses the vote to get out of prison, which was the point of the OP).
Regarding the Spraypaint: I think it is an important clue, and it's not only about what KSJ already stated. And I regard that scene with a bit of suspicion. It could be that KMC was the one spraying it, but it could also be a red hering as an imagined situation
I'm not convinced that KSJ planned this prison break. It seems more like using an opportunity that suddenly appeared in front of him. And we don't even know what he actually wants to do. The preview makes it seem as if he does not escape.
And did you all notice that Gaetal changed? His voice and stature is now different than the other votes (Smaller, slighter, female sounding).
I have a hunch that Kwong soo already knows that he killed a wrong guy and all this is for him to get out the…
But how would KSJ find out? He believed BWT was the killer when he killed him (with 22 stabs. That takes a lot of effort), and during his trial when he made a speech. Then he was in prison. How would he find out? And more important: why would he believe whoever told him?
Minsoo being a creep and violent does not automatically mean that BWT was innocent. Both could have been crazy disturbed. That would mean hard proof is needed to make a convincing argument. But if hard proof exists, why was it not found by either KMC who is very invested in the Case, or JH who actively researched MJY.
