"Please eat something." That's rude af that's like telling someone to lose weight. You do realize some people…
Oh please you can easily tell he is starving himself for his career. He looks like an ultra thin model and if he gains a little weight, he will be insecure try to lose it ending up looking thinner. His life "his income" depends on the way he looks. Ifhe was a 250kg model, I would tell him to lose weight (online) and in real life if I was close to him. I dont like shutting up while seeing people who are about to die of being skinny or too overweight.
Told myself to start watching during episode 8-ish but I couldn't resist.
What I like: -Even though Jung Ha has the BIGGEST crush and is a stalker who knows everything about Hye Joon, around him, she acts natural & not shy. -The friendship between the guys. -Hae Hyo's face.
What I dislike: -Too many family scenes, yes it has family tag but still.. come on. -The story is too plain. He wants to be an actor and she is just a random make up artist who is obsessed with him. is that it for 16 episodes? For 17 hours watchtime? please... -(very random) the skinny black actor we saw when Hye Joon travelled. Please eat something.
The problem with the screenwriter, Ha Myung Hee, is that her drama's plot is excellent, but manages to fuck it up real bad. For example, her drama Doctors had one of the best plots; it made us feel like it's going to be one of the best drama out there, and then it happens... halfway writing the script, Ha Myung Hee panics, ends up using cliches, useless filler episodes and non-realistic moments. Then, after all that drama, she gives us a happy ending like "here you go, I fucked up the drama; however, a happy ending will fix it, right? Haha". She manages to ruin our expectations and drop the drama. Didn't watch it, but as I see now, Record of Youth had a fantastic plot, just like her other shows. However, I feel like it will go downhill. If Ha Myung Hee manages to fuck this drama like all her other shows, then just ban this woman from the drama world cus she isn't any good source for marketing. Of course, I still have hope for this drama, but for now, I'm going to wait till episode 8-ish and see how it goes. An 8.9 rating right now is impressive.
@MK916 shared so many subs. I hope productiveprocrastination team uses them, fix the auto-translations and give credits to MK916. This way they can sub it faster, because right now, it seems like it's a lot of work for them.
"He is one-eighth Russian." I hate reading that. It's like people who put on their instagram bio that they are a bit nigerian because their grandpa's mother's father is half nigerian.
korea: no lol.
