My guess it's amnesia. No one in the room knew who his bf was to him. He didn't know who the bf was. Sucks lazy…
I have a feeling that Shu Yi's dad did something and ended the relationship. They haven't seen each other in 5 years, so that is why Gao Shi Di was surprised to see Shu Yi again, and why Shu Yi was mad that Shi Di broke his promise
I really want to like this, but it is moving way too slow. From the trailer, it looked like the focus of the show is on the present day, however, we are almost to ep5 with no sign of the flashback ending. With the current pace, the soonest they will catch up to present day would be at least 3 more episodes. Are they planning on spending 2/3 of the show in an extended flashback?
I was reading through the comments about the finale and some viewers say that there will be a possible season…
I don't think there will be a second season. That last line is a disembodied voice offering a proposal to the real Kim's soul. It is implied that this may be God, who would likely have the power to truly revive Kim. While this opens up a lot of possibility, I think that line is just a way to keep WayKim fans satisfied instead of leaving it with Kim's funeral. Considering they seem to have graduated and Way is already packing to fly away from Thailand, it is nearly impossible to have a second season.
The finale is a downer as WayKim does not have a happy ending. Kim dies and I fully understand fans frustrations…
Yeah, as much as I am cheering on for S2, I just don't think there is enough there for a second season. All the major conflicts are resolved, and there is only the WayKim situation left. Not to mention they all seem to have just graduated (Way was packing) and heading off to university, so pretty hard to continue.
I think that last scene is just them leaving a bit of hope for the WayKim fans. I guess WayKim can survive through resurrection fanfic, which sounds appropriate given this series.

I think you might be right but also consider how he died around Easter and they made a point of showing us Easter…
I'm going to guess magically back to life and nobody but the main characters remember his death. Assuming the voice was God, who would definitely be much more powerful than the Angel of Death
He's dead in the ground. I don't see how that's gonna work
Not necessarily, if that voice is really God, then I assume his power is way beyond the Angel of Death, so revival and altering people's memory of Kim's death are not outside the realm of possibility.
They finished filming the ending before the covid situation.
They filmed the last episode because it took place outside of the university so they had it filmed already. I think the OP was talking more about all the missing scenes between ep 8-12.
It’s to bad ccp virus interrupted production of this series, I thought it was a cute plot with the idea of the…
It didn't sound like putting it on hold was ever in consideration. The studio already paid for the airtime, so they would lose a lot of money if they went on hiatus. Since it sounds like the issue began around ep8, that mean giving up on 6 weeks worth of airtime money. The studio may not have enough cashflow to fund 6 more weeks of airtime especially with the expense needed to finish filming. The tv station may also not like having a hole blown on their friday night schedule. Basically, there was probably a lot of factors that made the studio push forward (especially with a pre-filmed finale) instead of going on hiatus
I suspect the main reason for the series' indifference to physical affection (let alone intimacy) is because it…
Does anyone know if Friendzone aired later at night compared to 2gether? At least for the West, the leeway for more mature content get larger and larger the later at night it is. It is possible it is the same for GMMTV
Wow, what a wild ride! I think, under the current circumstances, they wrapped up things as well as they could.Fighter/Tutor…
I think the main issue is that the two main storyline have very different tone: Dramatic for FighterTutor and Comedic for SaifahZon. That was always an issue from the beginning, but it got worst as FighterTutor get more and more dramatic. This is a built in flaw that can't be blamed on covid19.
What they should have done is have two concurrent shows running with cameos as needed. That way, you can keep two different tones with out it being so jarring to the audience. Alternatively, re-write either couple so they share the same tone.
Is there still gonna be a special episode for Saifah and Zon? Because some people say there is gonna be a special…
I think the production said they will try. But this will likely involve the studio approving additional funding (to re-hire a crew, to re-schedule the actors, to rebook the filming locations). The studio just might not see enough pay off to approve it
This episode seems to have been shot as an epilogue, since there's no much story here, but a lot of cute scenes.…
From the original statement, it sounded like this episode was shot ahead of time completely (not surprising since this need to filmed separately from all the university stuff) like the previous beach trip. It would be near impossible to cut together a separate ending when they have this filmed already.
