Acting so top notched that this drama has become a black horse in china. A rerun has been confirmed on cctv. Topped all charts as a shelved drama and all of these without any promotion. So the low mdl ratings here means nothing!

They're literally like a romantic married couple! Love doesn't always require skinship. A gaze of love is enough and even more romantic. They have been doing things couples do for each other all along. So how's the romance slow? It's just that they make it official a lot later, and it makes sense because qian fei has just ended her long term relationship! A normal loyal girl won't do rebounds right? Jumping from one relationship to another is not the characteristics of qian fei. And li yifei understanding her situation, didn't pursue her. It would be like taking advantage of her situation. Roomates to lovers is the plot. If they jump ships too soon, it would be boring right? If this still doesn't convince you to watch the drama because of this hilariously low mdl rating (it should be 8+ at the least), then I'll say no more.

This drama has been long awaited by fans. So we fans are hella happy we could watch it everyday. Getting TJC's drama itself is a blessing, so even 36 eps are less for us. You can have your own opinion but don't demean it by saying 36 eps are too much.
