I am soo tired of comments saying she is selfish For studying abroad and taking her time to get in relationship with He Suye. I understand Zhang linghe is very handsome and He suye is perfect in this drama. But this drama shows even if there is perfect person in front of you, you can’t neglect your own needs to get this perfect guy. Xifan healed from her ghosting ex bf first, and then pursued He Suye. She didn’t just accept his feelings and went with it. But she actively pursued him herself. For studying abroad, every one needs higher qualifications to further their degree, Xifan can’t be stuck at one place forever. It’s not production, director, screenwriter and actors’ fault that you are male validation centered weirdo live your life miserably so you take it out female lead of romantic drama.

I think in the drama characters calling him this god sent handsome is too much. Director and writer were planning on someone else, then change of plans and cast him but didn’t change the script to suit him. If characters called him competent and cool viewers would have understood. Script should fit the actors.

I’m so confused with structures in Korean industry. So director writes the scripts but where is separate script writer? But all of sudden someone who doctors the script is cowriter?! But still no writer? I’m so confused. Can someone help me with this?

Ko Hye jin character and actor’s portrayal really surprised me. She is really human, very flawed and hypocritical. No male can write woman like that. Ofc they would write someone like Euna portrayed by much much younger woman almost a girl who is also mother and saviour . To me Euna is illusion, Hyejin is reality. Hyejin is older, experienced, flawed and at the stops being mother and saviour of useless husband. I would have respected the director of the lead was Hyejin but we live in man’s world I should accept it. I’m still glad and thankful that Hyejin was focal point of the story.

For the all the weirdos and who don’t understand context clues, that keep moaning that actress portrayal is not good enough cause as maid and high ranking concubine Seori behaves differently. When maid becomes concubine ofc there will guidance from royal court, also when they enter palace the maids taught that they are king’s women now and forever. More or so maids are always ready for that moment. Please tell me why would high ranking concubine exactly like her maid self from years ago?!
