I don't think gungtan was ever afraid of her. He was afraid of what she could do which was create a barrier and…
Well if she's so capable of making a barrier of that intensity then she should be immensely powerful right. I'm not talking about physically powerful, she's definitely not it. But even with those magical powers, where was the utilisation? Only to make barrier? If she's so powerful to withstand that much training then she could fight off couple of those evil spirits which was never the case. There's always someone helping her in those situations. So even with that much power she had,it was useless.
Okay I am just going to say it out loud, the camera work is not it. The angles, the Focus in some scenes are just so weird. I understand in some scenes they just zoom in a lot on the actor that gives the feel that the viewer is experiencing the same situation as a first person but that's not what's happening here... otherwise the story is pretty good but not that investing/deep as it sounds. The acting is really good though.
I accidentally got recommended to it and this is one of the most underrated BLs that I have seen. The story is different and balanced, the pacing is good, side characters keep you invested and the MLs chemistry is so palpable. It's not something extraordinary but still the concept is very fresh to me. The storyline is of regular working class people and not some business man or mafia or super rich CEO. Mork's dimples remind me of Pran's dimples and it's so cute. This is much better than the overhyped counterpart Thai bls that are coming out rn. Only downside are those deadfish kisses.
The last 3 episodes don't exist for me. Those are not absolutely pointless but they broke the flow midway and the storytelling suffered from it. The last 10 minutes hardly save it.

I don't understand why despite of me really liking the vibe of this drama i never go out of my way to continue watching it. Usually this never happens. I'm almost halfway done with this and it's taking me ages to finish. Dunno why tho.

This Pat's character isn't worth it. How can a show become such a disaster after the last week's episode.? And this incessant crying of Pat in any random situation and his entitled behaviour towards others is annoying as hell. Specially when you have a partner like Jeng who's in it for all, wants to be with you and tries to communicate through problems, here's Pat with the weakest character constitution of all time. Step by step it's stepping down imo.
The soundtracks of this drama were phenomenal. Each one of them. Just the length of the drama could have been shorter. Easily could have been done within 12 episodes . I love loved Choi woo shik's character development.
What was this even?! There's not an ounce of romance in it. Can't even term it as a bromance. The only saving grace was the cooking but after watching kinou nani tabeta, even the cooking was lame here. It's not a show, it's a parody of the show.
nooo why are you so madπ€π I think the serie was amazing not like others with a lot of background storys…
Never said it was boring. It's just they don't always have to do funny scenes to show bromance. That makes them naive/ stupid characters and specially when they're going against someone as ruthless as the villain. And here they're cracking lame jokes till the last epi. Takes one away from the intensity of the situation.
The climax is really weak and underwhelming. Also how do the two MLs don't have any character depth at all in a action thriller like this?! They're always making funny remarks in unnecessary situations.
I agree. Even though I'm only halfway through, the mls don't have any character depth. And comedic scenes are so abrupt, doesn't match the thrilling vibe that it was going for at all. Also I don't find the characters very smart which if either one of them had been, then it'd been more exciting.
The FL is supposed to be so powerful that even Gungtan is afraid of her but sadly it was a let down . She doesnβt have any other objective other than to create the barrier . Every single time sheβs in danger either Van / Priest / Butler helps her . Then how does that make her a strong character ?
Because otherwise I don't understand what made HIM pursue Pat from the beginning itself... That Pat character has no layers whatsoever... Only crying and whining about everything and thinking he's always right. Even after two years he has not done any self reflection to his past wrong doings and goes straight to blame Jeng again. π
The storyline and the timeline don't make any sense. Can't believe they were building so much tension up till 7/8 th episode just to get two MLs together and they broke up after one episode. Then what's the point to it?!.. π
The chemistry in the finale between Jeng and Pat seems a little off. I think they shot these scenes first and episode 10 later. Those kisses were fire. π€―
Also unable to blv how they did Jaab Jen dirty. Their first kiss was so intense and then they just fizzled out. Half of the story writing is nonsensical and fillers.
Only reason I started and stayed true to the last of this show is Man's portrayal of Jeng. He brings calmness to the chaos of this show. I hope to see him into something worthy of his talent soon.π©·
