Am I the only one who likes more this development of VegasPete than the original? π€π€·π»ββοΈ
I would've enjoyed it more, I think, if I hadn't read the novel, the continuous comparisons of the two, swirl in my brain, unconsciously. But I'm still holding out on a verdict whether I like it more than the original until I see the end of the series.
He is lonely but how come that loneliness never got to him when he was using other people? Those people even showed…
I think as one person commented below, and what I also feel is that it wasn't caring or concern that made Vegas clean up Pete's wounds, it was rather the fear of losing the one person, he is still has. in his possession, because apart from holding Pete, Vegas has lost everything; EVERY SINGLE THING he gambled, he has lost, including and majorly whatever little fatherly good relation he had going with his dad... And if Pete dies, he will be left all alone, (even though Pete is not his, but)... I think, or I feel that's basically what was why Vegas cared for Pete's wounds...
Vegas: Do you wanna marry me?
But I'm still holding out on a verdict whether I like it more than the original until I see the end of the series.
