For me, VP is holding the show. Their story is totally different and unique. Chemistry is way more powerful and…
I'm sorry I don't wanna jump into this thread, BUT you literally just bad-mouthed Vegas/Pete. and let me quote "Sorry but Vegas Pete story is a big letdown''. That's what you wrote in your comment.
It's crazy how we can look at Vegas and Pete's interactions under different lights and different perspectives, and interpret them in multiple different ways...
It goes to show how good actors they are, and how complicated their story is... And I love reading all of these metas!!!
From the perspective of a person that didn’t read the novel. I didn’t see it necessarily as concern or caring…
I read the novel, and I completely felt the same... Like he had lost everything at that point, and he couldn't bear losing this One other person who was with him in this, by force or not... So yeah, I totally agree with you and that's exactly how I felt.
And what if Pete manipulates Vegas into loving him so he can escape?
That would be kinda satisfying... Seeing Vegas cry for Pete, understanding he was used... go through his first heartbreak... watching Vegas suffer, realizing how much he actually truly loves Pete, would be so gratifying!!
Again, my hunt for VP songs begins... I love doing it after every episode!
And If we got VP for every 14 episodes, I honestly think I would be in an Asylum right now... So kinda glad, that didn't happen... Or for sure my Mum would've me locked up
Edit: No, I lied, I'm not glad. I would be crazy, than see less of Vegas Pete...
I feel the series Vegas is more immature than the novel Vegas, in the series he seems more impulsive, more reckless,…
Ep 10 actually made me think if Vegas is driven by an inferiority complex put in by his father, that causes him to make all these impulsive decisions like fake dating and manipulating Tawan to that extent, then trying to lure Porsche instead of just keeping an eye out... Like his emotions to prove himself to his father gets the better, or rules his judgement.
And then this episode literally sealed the deal for me...It showed that series Vegas has Very serious Daddy issues, along with a bunch of other things going on in his brain, that makes him a mess emotionally...
I didn't get this vibe from the Novel Vegas... But I don't know!
And I think for the first time Vegas will be heartbroken that someone used him!
It's gonna be okay...🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼... We might be robbed by BoC in broad daylight, but we can trust Bible and Build they will deliver even impossible scenes, and make us satisfied.
*Pete faints because of the torture*Vegas : ''well, well, well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions''.
I feel the series Vegas is more immature than the novel Vegas, in the series he seems more impulsive, more reckless, and far more driven by his emotions. Novel Vegas, I felt was more in control of his feelings, a little bit colder, and less given to changes... But that's me really, that's what I feel, and try to empathize and understand his actions, in the series...
when he entered i was like "not my baby in cotton" so cute and he reads...
And then Pete asks "are you hurt?" and he replies so quietly, "I'm hurt; But I don't know why it doesn't hurt as much as before!" I was ready to squish and cuddle him right then!

And Pete is not even his.
YET.
