Is this a joke? Who the hell wants to watch an AI drama? INSTEAD OF WASTING MONEY ON THIS RIDICULOUS SLOP, HAVE SOME DIGNITY AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ON MAKING A DRAMA WITH REAL ACTORS, NO MATTER HOW BAD IT ENDS UP BEING.

Going through tv and came across kbs America and this show was on and saw ha Neul from graceful liar 😂 oh boy…
It’s so nice to find someone who enjoyed A Graceful Liar, because I really enjoyed watching it too. Seol Jung Hwan’s character in this drama is similar and quite different than his role in AGL at the same time. Even though he has feelings for 2nd FL, he wants to marry 3rd FL for her money (yes, gold digger). Overall, his attitude toward both FLs is much more neutral.

Honestly, I think this is the most enjoyable daily drama I’ve watched since Queen’s House. The plot is both complicated and packed with things happening, so you never really get bored

I want to know how ML mother ended up like she is. I believe ML is also in a revenge plot.
Finally someone said it! I’m really curious about the close relation between ML & his family and Cheongma Group. Like, what happened to his mother to end up this way? What happened to his father? Why is Cheongma Group so invested in them? How did Haera and Seokjin meet? Why is Cheongma providing a scholarship to him, and so on...

Honestly, I even think that Seo family is directly connected to Cheongma as well, not just ML’s family. But I don’t think we’ll get answers to these questions anytime soon.

Also, the fact that Kang Yeong-hun is portrayed as a villain in the character descriptions, even though we haven’t seen that side of him yet, makes me suspicious of both families and their connection to the group.

is this good
Definitely amazing for a daily drama. The plot moves at fast pace but the story also seems quite complex and long. The characters are interesting, especially Ju Mi-ran who is a layered villain, while Ko Eun-seol, unlike typical daily drama FLs, is strong and intelligent. The show's budget is also quite high compared to other dailies and BGM is simply perfect. I definitely recommend giving it a try

The first 5 episodes were great! Can't wait to see what happens next!
Totally agree. It has been excellent so far. The acting and characters are great and the story is really engaging. I’m really curious to see where the story goes from here. (Looks like S. Koreans really like this drama too, the engagement in Naver is quite high so far)

This sounds hopeful... definitely watching later. What do you mean by the intro was too fast?
Normally, daily dramas take their time with the intros, slowly showing the actors’ names and photos, followed by a few scenes and the sponsors before the intro ends. However they seemed to rush through everything and get it over with as quickly as possible. The intro is only 30 sec long, whereas daily drama intros are usually around 50 sec. Not an important detail but they could've done much better

Just watched the 1st episode without subs (and surprisingly, I understood most of it) and I think it did a really good job of setting up the story. My thoughts:

- The intro felt a bit too mundane and it was too fast this time.
- I really liked the overall atmosphere. It definitely feels more high-budget.
- Even though 1st episode mainly focused on the conflict between the 2nd & 3rd FLs, the characters seem pretty interesting so far.
- I loved that they didn't spend too much time on character introductions or unnecessary comedy. Jumping straight into the drama was definitely the right choice.
- I quite liked the acting. 3rd FL especially did a great job of making us feel her frustration.
- BGMs are excellent as expected.

Definitely going to continue watching - 8.5/10

Good news:
The music director is Choi In-hee, who previously produced the BGMs for A Graceful Liar, Cinderella Game and Vengeance of the Bride.

Bad news:
The drama hasn't even premiered yet and it already has a horrible cancellation schedule.
- 21 September – 2 October 2026: Scheduled for cancellation due to coverage of the 2026 Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games.
- 24–25 September 2026: Scheduled for cancellation due to the Chuseok Special: Lee Seung-chul's Never Ending and coverage of the 2026 Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games.
- 9 October 2026 – October ?? 2026: Scheduled for cancellation due to broadcasts of the remaining 2026 KBO League regular season games.
- 18 December 2026: Scheduled for cancellation due to the broadcast of the 2026 KBS Global Music Festival.
- 31 December 2026: Scheduled for cancellation due to the broadcast of the 2026 KBS Drama Awards.

I really hope this won't hurt the drama's popularity, but it's certain to have a negative impact on the ratings

Ough it is disappointing that Graceful Liar was #6... that drama is trashy imo the plot just doesnt go anywhere.…
Korean viewers generally liked the drama but they also had some complaints, especially about the second half. Still, overall the series performed well throughout its run. Honestly, I don’t want to comment too much since I haven’t been able to follow it closely but as far as I understand, MDL users also found it to be average

Title Pearl in Red
Interesting that it is more popular than daily First Man , which is #7bc Pearl in Read is closer to home, how…
Since The Third Marriage, KBS2 daily dramas have clearly outperformed MBC’s daily dramas in terms of popularity. Also, one of the main reason behind Pearl in Red’s success is that KBS promoted it very well, unlike its other daily dramas. Thanks to the heavy social media promotions before it aired, the drama got off to a strong start.

Meanwhile, First Man ranking 7th is actually quite a good result for that series. It had a pretty rough start due to TWWSTS’ mega-flop and MBC’s poor promotion efforts. However it’s gradually recovering, and it will most likely have a competitive race with Pearl in Red soon

Surprising news!

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, a well-known company that regularly releases data-driven popularity rankings for drama actors and shows, Pearl in Red has ranked "4th" in popularity in Korea. -- with more than 3 million user votes.

While daily dramas usually struggle to even enter the Top 10, Pearl in Red managed to reach 4th place in its very first month. It also surpassed the highest ranking of A Graceful Liar which was 6th. Hopefully, it can maintain the same momentum in the upcoming months

I haven't been this hooked on a Korean crime-thriller since Mouse. Acting, script, characters — simply magnificent. Not a single scene that I got bored, and FL is such a complex character. Looking forward to the next episodes

While everyone is busy coming up with theories and following the plot, there’s some huge news for the drama.

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, a well-known company that regularly releases data-driven popularity rankings for drama actors and shows, Queen’s House has ranked "2nd" in popularity in Korea. (Yes, you read that right, SECOND) -- with more than 4.5 million user votes.

https://www.soompi.com/article/1766597wpp/august-drama-brand-reputation-rankings-announced

This is actually a record for a daily drama. The previous best belonged to “Cinderella Game” and “Man in a Veil” which reached 3rd place in March 2025 and February 2021. Daily dramas usually struggle to even enter the Top 10, but Queen’s House has been staying in the Top 10 since its very first broadcast, which is an incredible achievement.
