I was coming to the comments to see if anybody mentioned this. That camera angle was right up her nose and she shorter than Oat, so we didn’t need that up her snout view. It was doing her zero favors. 🤣

I mean his attitude towards her start shifting around 12 seriously you guys need to stick with shorter dramas I think, lol.

Well, they officially got together in episodes 24 and 25, which is pretty typical for a slow burn romance…🤪
And prior to that they had plenty of romantic moments, with him shifting to be less antagonistic and more caring around episode 12

I felt bad for Dan Yi, but the other girl knew what was up already. She’s just in it for spite now. Also, if you’ve never struggled with something like that, maybe don’t call people selfish… It’s a very complex situation.

Why did they just let that honey twat waltz onto the set whenever she wants to? If I was that director, I would ban her her ass from the set.

Yup. She was sketch from the jump. Like she had already seen the writing on the wall, but wanted to capitalize on it anyway.

Yeah, I’ve seen this several times because I like the story, but the FL acting is just horrific. I actually prefer Angela baby in the movie. And actually, I like the movie a little better even though you get more backstory in the series, I felt the movie seemed more realistic. There’s so much cringe in the series… And I say that, but I still like it.

Because two of the male characters it’s implied that they are a couple. Because of censorship, of course, nothing happens, but it’s heavily implied.

What in the uniform fetish porn is this? 😆😆😆

Sometimes I wonder if any of you guys that complain about how long it takes for the romance to start in a 36 episode show, ever read books 😆

Really just the last episode that had a bunch of filler in it, but I still think it’s worth watching

I wondered that too the first time I watched it and then I just looked up the significance of red beans in Chinese culture.

I don’t exactly remember what episode the filler stuff starts.

I don’t know why people keep calling it ML stupidity because he wasn’t stupid. He had been deliberately misled and so he was antagonistic. What I felt was stupid was how they made him do a 180 before he even knew how he’d been misled.

Any drama that is 36 episodes long and is a romance is gonna be a slow burn. To me it felt like I was watching a book, if that makes any sense.

Oh, this show was the first Chinese drama I had watched after a very long time of strictly Korean dramas and I was so blown away that I’m re-watching it.

Same. And I adore both of the actors in the lead roles. I saw someone complain that SWL wasn’t a good actor, but I don’t agree. For such a young age he’s pretty good and she is absolutely phenomenal, though currently the things I’ve seen her in she’s a little same same, but with age, she’ll probably get some more range.

There’s really a lot more to it than just that it was his stupidity. It honestly wasn’t. He was deliberately mislead.
