Nah. I first watched when it came out and I thought he was annoying even then. Years later my thoughts are still the same. And then he brings proposal on her when they haven’t even been dating? Yeah. Pretty gross.

Much as I dislike the Korean version, I actually liked the SML better then in this one. I absolutely cannot stand the SML in this one. I get that he likes her but he knows she likes someone else, and when she gets her heartbroken, what does he do? He tries to swoop in and I’m sorry, that’s despicable. I do hate how the ML is constantly being nice to other people and treats her like shit when he actually likes her. Though he’s not nearly as bad as the ML in the Korean version, he’s just downright cruel to her.

I will say this for both SML‘s in the Korean and in this version at least they treat the FL a lot better than the ML does. I will never understand why being an icy jerk is supposed to be romantic. Looking at you, boys over flowers. 😆

Re-watching for the second or third time, and since it’s been a while since I watched before, I remember how I always notice that the ML and FL if they would just not give the people who have unrequited crushes on them any hope maybe they wouldn’t have so much drama. 😆

Still cannot watch this episode because the IQIYI app on my roku keeps shutting it off. I can watch other shows on there, just not this one.

I can’t believe people find ML to be nice. He says so many absolutely hurtful things to her at a time when he should’ve been her friend. I didn’t like the ML in the Chinese version at first, but I still think he was nicer to her overall in the beginning than this ML.

They made the ML so much meaner and assholish in this version. In the Chinese version, he wasn’t so nasty. I have yet to see the Thai version completely but I still think the Chinese version is the best. I get, in the Chinese version, her falling for him because he was aloof. But this version he’s downright despicable. And honestly, I don’t usually have SML syndrome, but I really wish in this version she would’ve ended up with him…at least he treated her decently for years.

Well, the promo photo on Netflix made me assume it was a BL, but the cast made me come look here to confirm. It looks really good and I plan to watch. I just wanna know going in if it is a BL or not. I watch all kinds of dramas and am not prejudiced. But seriously, that cover shot on Netflix was pretty baity, tbh.
