One of the better mini dramas out there

Sometimes it is a hit or miss on these mini dramas. This one was a hit for me. It did not hurt that the ML was definitely eye candy and boy can he kiss! lol that said… overall it was well done both in storyline and acting.

Storyline - I honestly thought it was perfectly done. Might have could used a bit of work but overall it is one of the best mini dramas. It had drama, a bit of mystery, intrigue, and best of all… romance! I wanted to jump to the end to find out what happens with the Leads but the story kept me grounded to complete it all. I like that. Most dramas I skip parts/episodes because they have a lot of filler. This one not so much.

I liked the way the two “sisters” ended on a good note. The adopted sister was not really bad just miss guided. I like that the ML did not really give up on the FL and she had brains enough to figure out he was not really as bad of a guy as she thought he was at first. Their encounters were funny at times and melted your heart at others. Great storyline. Was a bit different and unique in some ways.

Acting/Cast - I really liked the ML’s. They had good chemistry and made their parts theirs. They did a great job. Like I said before, the ML was not bad to watch lol. But I liked his acting the most. He did a good job. Hope to see him in more dramas.

Rewatch - Yes! I will put this on my top faves! It is a good mini!

… I have seen worse but this one ranks up there.

I have not done a review for a while now. Mostly I do them if they are really good or really bad… Sad that this is a bad review. But that is what to expect from a “mini” drama like this. Poor acting, poor script, poor storyline, poor sound. Was just lacking a lot!

Storyline - …was needing a TON of work! I would give more points if it was written better. Unfortunately it was not. It did not flow smoothly. There were things unresolved with her family. It went from problems with her family and threats from her “sister” to nothing resolved. Then a childhood “friend”, of the ML, appears and that was all jumbled! Then the ML’s sister appears out of no where and causes another huge mess. And the ENDING! Oh the ENDING!! I cannot tell you AGAIN! how much I hate short stupid endings! If you don’t give me a satisfactory ending I am going to mark you down! This ending was pathetic! I hated it! Storyline was just stupid!

Acting/Cast - the ML/FL had poor acting. They just did not deliver! I am almost certain that most of these mini dramas are just the beginning of their acting career for most of them, but these two and the rest of the cast was sad, sad, sad! The script did not help them one bit. Their acting was sort of childish, especially the ML.

Music/ Sound - well… there really was not much music to comment on but the sound disappeared completely in parts and then they played music over the voices in places. So it did not help this mini.

Rewatch - NO! This will not rank as a rewatch for me. It just did not deliver.

Review from season 1… because I still feel the same way about this one.

I looked all over for Jiang Shi Qi and could not find her until now. On YouTube the AI sub titles type her name out as Ginger 17 (most of the time). But the last one I watched finally got it right and I was surprised to see her on MDL. That said…

These dramas are cute and funny to watch because of her. She is lively and fun and does not put up with anyone’s crap. I would like to watch more of her.

The only downfall of these mini dramas are that they are hard to find with English subs and when they have them they are AI subs and move so fast you have to rewind and pause to see what is said and... a lot of things get lost because AI is not perfect and so a lot of words are mixed up so you kind of get lost on what is said because as we say here in the States, “it is lost in translation.”

Storyline - is cute and fun to watch. Love that she is bold and does what is best and right no mater what anyone says or does.

Acting/Cast - like I said above… Jiang Shi Qi makes these little bites size minis fun. The ML is an handsome guy and always stands up for her and does not let her get wronged.

Rewatch - yes, I will because sometimes I like these short bitesize dramas to take a break from the long ones.

Long review but I have to get it all out! One of the most heartwarming dramas!

For those who dropped this drama or wrote a bad review about it (without finishing it or at least most of it)… your NUTS! It is a really really good drama! From beginning to end (I hope! I am not there yet but it is up to ep. 38).

I was going to write my review several times but I am glad I waited until episode 38. I was going to knock down the storyline some and give it 9/10 but now I don’t have the heart to do it! Episodes 37-38 made my day!!! This is an excellent drama! It has the controlling parents (which I REALLY hate! But keep watching it gets good). Family. Drama. Love. Hate. Loyalty. Honor. It has it all! I laughed! I cried! So many times I wanted to tell the FL to grow a backbone and stand up to that awful mother! I loved how when she finds out what the mother did to the ML she finally had had enough. That mean woman held on though. Still thinking she was right and the the FL cousin brought her to her knees! It was the most rewarding part of this drama! Her revenge for her cousin was perfect and suitable!

Storyline - was really well done! Loved it all so far! I could say that YES, it was to lengthy and some of the “filler” could be taken out. But a good drama that is well written and well acted can suck you into the lives of every person portrayed in it! This drama did that for me. I was invested in ALL their lives! I cried when the firemen’s family’s cooked and sent the meals to them so they could have a taste of home. I cried when they lost a comrade and when the doctor/nurse cried in the movie theater for her loss of having him around. I cried when the ML was almost killed in the earth quake and the FL realized it was him. I laughed in so many parts I cannot count. I hated some of the people in the drama also. So to me, a drama that can touch on ALL my emotions is a really good drama! So 10/10 for me! Well done writers!

Acting/Cast - man where to start? Yang Yang - so I have seen a lot of his dramas/movies. I own one drama and one movie. He is an excellent actor! I love that he has grown so much over the years in his acting. He was kind of stiff in the first ones I watched and in “You are My Glory” I say a new side of him. A softer more relaxed side. But in this drama I saw an even bigger change..for the good! He has outdone himself in this drama. He is more human, if that makes sense. To me he is no longer just a good looking guy. Oh he is a good looking guy but now he is so much more! I can’t wait to see what he does next! As for the FL Wang Chu Ran- she is a good actress. I felt she was a wee bit stiff in this drama but that could be the character she was portraying. She did a great job! As for the rest of the cast… they did an awesome job! The mother - I was always told if an actor can make you hate them then they are a good actor. She did that so I give her thumbs up!

Rewatch - YES! YES! YES! It really was good! I want to watch it again but I will wait!

Not a bad mini drama.

This was not a bad little mini drama. I am guessing there will be a part 2. This one kept my interest for the most part.

Storyline- was not bad. I felt it ran smooth enough. There were a few parts that needed improvement and some parts I thought were a bit crazy… the model who wanted the CEO was exactly as I thought. Not the kind of thing I personally like to watch but it was not all that bad. She was actually a “He” and his sort of childhood friend. “He” was a bit obsessed with the ML and so it led him to “change” into someone else so he could be closer to him and get his love. It was an interesting twist. The ending lets me know there might be a season 2? No announcement on MyDramaList. But that does not mean it will not happen. Other than that I liked the story. I am guessing season 2 will be all about the FL and where she came from and if her and the ML will find happiness. I hope they do! I like them both.

Acting/Cast - I think they did a great job. It was well done and they helped me connect with them. I was totally wanted by the ML/FL to stay together.

Rewatch - maybe. If there is a second season I might watch it again to remember it before the next one comes out. But I am going to be honest… I am more into the romance stories more than the drama and sort of suspense stories. So I might watch it again if I am looking for a bit of suspense.

It is a nice slow romance. Loved it all!

I loved this drama. It was light and fluffy and perfect for me. It had a bit of drama in it but not to the point I wanted to stop watching it. Everything was resolved perfectly and not in a huge drug out dramatic way… thank goodness. If you are looking for a good romance… This is it!

Storyline - very predictable but I honestly LOVE this drama. It was well written and well done! It flowed great and the ending… thank you writers for giving me a happy satisfying ending! I loved how the FL protected the ML. She was bold and did not back down. She was no push over and I loved that! I loved that there was no stupid breakup and everything was resolved in an adult manner. ML’s life was sad due to his fathers mistake and not wanting to own up to it. I loved that the wife and son would not allow him to run from it. Too bad he (the father) took the chickens way out and left his huge burden and failure for his wife and son to shoulder. I hated the way the girl made him feel the guilt of what his father had done all those years. She was a manipulative little brat that needed psychiatric help! I loved how the FL told her friend that if she really cared about her friend then get her some mental help. She so needed it!

Acting/Cast - first off the ML…He was perfect for this role (and really cute. Lol)! I loved how he showed the emotions and everything. I have a new actor to watch more of…I hope! As for the FL, Zhao Lu Si, she is one of my all time favorites to watch! When I saw the advertisement for this drama I knew it would be a favorite of mine! And I was not disappointed! She is amazing!

Music - loved it all! Hope to find the OST but I am finding that they are hard to come by in the states. But I will keep hoping they will release it here.

Rewatch - YES! Most definitely 💯!

Was not what I expected but I liked this plot

The plot to this one was a bit unique from all the CDramas I have watched (that is a lot). If it is the same as another one then I have not seen it yet. It was based around the children and their “parents”. I loved watching the story of the “parents and kids” unfold. It was different for me and I liked it a lot!

Storyline - The plot was not bad. It ran smooth for me. I felt it was well done. I think I marked the storyline down 5% because the Fl was ticking me off about how she could not get over why he married her. I get it… I do! But even when he poured his heart out to her she still had thoughts of leaving him. I wanted to smack the writers. She really was not very bright in that she listened to a guy who tried to destroy her family with his lies. She was a bit blinded. I understand she wanted to know the truth about her sister and her death. I was glad to find that her sister was really to blame and not his family. I also give high praise to the writers for not making her feel episodes of guilt for how her sister tried to extort money from them through blackmail. Thank goodness it was not dragged out… like her not wanting to get over why he first married her. Those episodes ticked me off. Especially when she let the little boy chase her and she would not stop! Really??? So heartless! I could never have done that. Sit down and talk it out! Be a grown up! Don’t tear the kids apart because you are being dumb! Ok! I am done with my little rant.

That said… I really liked the story. It did not end the way I thought at first or midway through. I liked that it kept my interest. It was well done for my taste.

Acting/Cast - love love love them all! The main leads and the support were wonderful to watch! I loved how she became friends with the fist rival, Tong Luo Qi. They made me laugh often! All the cast did great! And those kids were stinking cute!! Oh my gosh! What good little actors! They had my heart from the start!

Rewatch - YES! I loved this one! The plot was great! So was the acting! Even with my hang ups (listed in the storyline) I liked this one and would watch again.

Another great drama for me!

I have not give a drama all 10/10 in a while now. This one deserved it! It is about the realities of life, love, and dreams. Reminded me a bit of “You are My Glory.” This one ranked right up there for me. There were 2 scenes they kept showing on Facebook that told me it is a must watch. The first one was when she was in the meeting room and they were trying to frame her and her grandfather came in and set them all straight! It was one of my favorite scenes. The other is when he finally went after her and made it clear he wanted to be with her. I laughed at the guy who was trying to court her! The look on his face was priceless! If you watch it you’ll know what I am talking about.

Storyline - was well done all around. The only parts I skipped was some of the memories of what happened. I watched all the ones that pertained to the main leads because I had to see what each one went through and how it all overlapped. It made me laugh, cry, and happy that the FL was strong and not weak. This is one FL I can relate to. Loved this storyline.

Acting/Cast - loved the FL/ML and all the support cast. Their stories were great to watch. They did an amazing job!

Music - was great! Fit the drama perfectly and dang if I cannot find it on Amazon! I would love to have the OST.

Rewatch - YES!! I am adding it to my once a year (probably twice a year) favorites to watch.

Could have used some work…

It could be a promising story if it was a written better and the ending left you feeling like it wasn’t complete.

Storyline - needed a lot of work. It was ok. The sound issues in these mini dramas are the worst! It ruins a drama when the music stops and it is a bunch of dead air and then when they talk it sounds like they are talking through a funnel or something. I have seen to many mini dramas that have horrible sound issues. I don’t know why but they do. The story was not bad. I liked it. I just wish it was smoother and written better.

Acting/Cast - they needed work themselves. They were not horrible but they were not great either. Maybe a bit better scrip would have help but I don’t know.

Rewatch - probably will. It is not the worst mini drama out there.

Was going to give it high marks…

This drama started out nice but then the last two episodes tanked it for me. They should have ended it at episode 21 at 10 minutes 40 seconds into it and added a clean ending. That. Did. Not. Happen!

Storyline - needed some work and not just the story but some of the casts acting was not good. Like I said strong start then the ending got weird. Seriously, if you are going to do a plot twist… make it a plot twist but with a happy ending. This ending sucked! It started in episode 21 (the same as listed above) with the ground shaking and their world shattering and then in episode 22 she wakes up in the hospital and then we watch their whole encounter all over again. They run over their first encounter together like so many times it got boring. Same thing over and over and over. If you watch it you will get the point.

I really REALLY had high hopes for a great ending but when I got to the tail end of episode 21 I knew it was a goner for me. Sigh… just write a decent ending! That is all we want lol.

Acting/Cast - I have to ask … why does the ML always star in these mini cliche dramas? He is a good looking guy and not too bad at acting but I only see him in these minis. They do him no justice. I think I would like to see him in a nicer drama. The FL was not bad. I like her. Some of the other cast needed work though.

Rewatch - ? ??
I don’t know… honestly if it was not for that ending ruining it all I would have said YES in a heartbeat but it ruined it for me. Maybe I will watch it later on down the road I did give it 5/10 on rewatch. That at least is a 50/50 for me.

Not bad…

I usually don’t watch the type of dramas that get the adrenaline going. This one got it going but not all that much. I was wanting to skip to the end just to see what happened but I actually watched the entire mini drama without skipping. Which is rare for me.

Storyline - was not all that bad. It did need some work. But what drama doesn’t? It was well done by the actors. It kept me on edge and wanting to see if the ML was really good or really bad lol. I wish it was the former. I was rooting for him to really be a good guy but sad to say he was not. It had a not to bad ending. It is more of a suspense but a good one. I did like it all in all.

Actin/Cast - I thought they did great. ML… I loved him in “My Lethal Man.” He was a good actor in it and he was also a good sociopath in this one. He made me want to believe he really was good. Kind of like the husband in “Flower of Evil”. He is fast becoming one of my favorite ML. The rest of the cast was good. There were some parts that bugged me about the sisters. I can not decide if it was the script or their acting that I had issues with.

Rewatch - it really is not my type or show. I am more of a romantic than suspense and so on. But I Might watch it again down the road. Just watch it once to gain your own opinion.

Yes, domineering MIL but it turned out good!

It was long but was not that bad. Acting was good. Story was good. Yes, it had a mother-in-law who was controlling but it turned out good. You would have to watch it for yourself.

Storyline - was not bad. It had a lot of heart and a lot of real life feel to it. The mother-in-law came around and I absolutely LOVED how the son and daughter-in-law handled her. They were not rude but they did deal with her with wisdom.

At first I did want to punch the ML. He never put the one he truly loved first. His friend (who was a girl and she was in love with him but he was never in love with her) took the front seat in his life a few times. I wanted to smack him. I loved how his family came around to the FL and supported her when he went off to help the “friend” recover from her bad accident. It turned out great. Just watch it once to get your own opinion.

Acting/Cast - the FL was phenomenal! When the ML found out the boy of the FL was really his (he thought the boy was another man’s child) and took it out on her… that scene was powerful! I loved that she stood up to him and let him know how stupid he was and how she felt waiting for him (basically waited for him to man up) all those years to come back to her. She struggled yet still loved him and supported him and did an amazing job raising their son. It was really well done. She was amazing. The cast was great even the mother-in-law.

Rewatch - it depends. I am not one to get into the really long 40+ episode dramas. But I might watch this again. Honestly if I do it would be to see the FL and the scene I mentioned above.

Was so good until….

Another good mini drama. However… THE ENDING!!! come on give me more! Sigh… ONE MINUTE does NOT satisfy my romantic hopes in a drama. Other than the ending it was not half bad. So I marked the story down. Sorry, if you are not going to give me a bit more to satisfy my romantic craving… then your story loses ratings for me. That is not the entire reason why I marked the story down though. I will list them below.

Storyline - was not bad. Only bad part for me was the ending. That said… the FL was supposed to help people (she is supposed to be a doctor in training/school) to get through this time travel in 120 days. I was a bit confused because she helped some people then it is like they dropped that part of the storyline for quiet awhile and then picked it up and then dropped it again. She had this fancy watch that helped her out but then the rest of the drama it is like it all disappeared. So the storyline was not consistent at all. Things jumped around a bit and was a little confusing. Other than those thing I did not think it was half bad.

Acting/Cast - was not bad. They could use some work. I am guessing that most of these mini dramas are new actors/actresses and so some do good while others don’t. I would say that I liked both of the main leads. Sometimes they lacked the proper emotion but all in all I liked them.

Rewatch - I might sometime down the road. If it was not for the poor ending it would be a YES! Unfortunately it is a might.

Was ok. Definitely NOT a favorite of mine.

It is worth at let’s one watch. Would I watch it again? Probably but it would be a very long time before I do. It was really not that great… here is why…
(These are my opinions and pet peeves about this drama and others like it. Watch it at least once to get your own view on it).

Storyline - sorry this is going to give spoilers.

1. I am sorry but I would never marry someone who says their baby is mine when I don’t remember a thing the night it was supposed to have happened. I am a very conservative person so that coming from me is not great lol. But honestly I would wait till the baby is born and a DNA test done before I marry anyone! Give me proof it is mine. So many of these dramas are like the opposite of this. “I will marry you and believe the baby is mine, even though I love someone else.” I don’t want an ultra sound to prove the baby is there or not! I want actual DNA and I will be 100% present through the hole process so there is no lying and cheating or swapping DNA. The men in these dramas need to grew some brains! I wish they would write at least one guy that stood up for hisself and got actual real proof and none of this cheating the tests and believing what the woman says.

2. So she (the FL) “indirectly” killed his parents. It was really no one’s fault not even hers. It was an accident. So you’re going to hold a grudge against someone you love because of that? And the grandfather is going to hold a young person accountable for it? Truth be told the mother is to blame for over correcting her steering. She is the one that killed them.

I guess I think way differently than most people but common sense would play a huge part in it for me if I was in these situations. I know I am totally knit picking this drama apart but it is a hard one for me to get past these things because logic would play a huge part and stop a whole lot of yelling, fighting, lying, and crying. Other than those points it was ok.

Acting/Cast - they did an all right job. Not bad. I would probably look a few of them up and watch another of their dramas they are in.

Rewatch - maybe if I am really wanting to see it again other than that probably not.
