It started off... good. I admit it, I only watched this for two reasons:
1. Yong Hwa
2. I wanted to see Park Shin Hye and Yong Hwa end up together... especially after You're Beautiful
However, after just a few episodes, it got bland. The two main characters were also quite whimpy and weak... and dumb. Well not exactly dumb, but they had some moments in which I was just like :/. And sometimes they even rubbed off as annoying. However, Shin Hye's friend, Im Se Mi's character, was a really good addition to the show. I liked her so much that I wish to see her in more dramas, in fact. Min Hyuk was also quite cute. I admit it, at first, I just wanted to whack some sense into him with a pan. But I began warming up to him in later episodes. And he's quite good-looking, too. The teacher... I forgot her name, so let's call her the female dance teacher. At first I hated her. But then I saw she had common sense, and I really liked her. Props for those characters, the music, and Yong Hwa's and Shin Hye's chemistry!

One of my favorites of all time, this is the first drama I did not drop. It would've received a higher score if it weren't because some events were too repetitive, and you could say it was sort of eventless... the storyline was not full of twists and shocks, and it was not exactly amazing, but I really enjoyed it nevertheless. And Rain? I loved him so much in this. His character was too darn cute, and he is 50% of what kept me watching this and what makes me remember Full House so fondly. If I were to choose my favorite k-drama character... so far, he would be definitely first. He even beats Jang Keun Suk's character in You're Beautiful, whom I adored. The music... ah, the music. I did not get so annoyed with it as my friend did, but it was too repetitive. Honestly. To conclude, I recommend this to anyone! Light-hearted and cute, you simply have to watch this :)

This could've been a good drama... but I found it slightly boring. Not exactly boring, more like on the it-doesn't-manage-to-keep-you-glued-to-it side. I don't really have much to say, since I don't remember a lot of it. Park Hi Soo, I love him, but he was the reason why I sort of stopped watching this. He sort of made some dumb decisions with the female lead. So dumb that there was a moment in which I wanted her to end up with the much older gigolo (the gigolo and the female lead were the main couple but Park Si Hoo's fans made sure to have the writers change that LOL). The female lead wasn't either likable or hateful, sort of in the middle. I wouldn't recommend this drama so much... but it wasn't so bad, so if someone came up to me chanting "I want to see this drama", I wouldn't stop her/him.

I tried watching the Taiwanese, the Japanese, and the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango. The Taiwanese version did not work for me, I didn't find the full episodes for the Japanese one, and now we've got the Korean version. Let me just start of by saying that Jan Di screams too much. I'd also like to say that Ji Hoo was too... how could I say it... stupid? My friend however fell in love with him so let's ignore that. I remember being obsessed with this drama. I'm not even sure why I stopped. All I know is that I had a love-hate relationship with this drama. Oh... wait, now I remember. Jan Di was the reason. And of course, some events I could not quite comprehend. Alright, let's start with Jan Di. She's kick-butt, she's strong... and she's one heck of a loud crybaby with a Bella Swan complex. She can't decide with whom to be, once she's with one guy, she's thinking of the other... get what I mean? Plus, she's supposed to be strong and all that. But, after a few episodes, all I saw was some dumb girl who is not so smart. There was this one really important event that made me realize that. Also, I knew how it would end, since I read some spoilers... and some events had me like: "puh-lease". A while ago, I was pondering if I should give this a shot. Other than Kim Hyung Joong, the F-4 was quite a cute bunch. It had an interesting storyline... but Jan Di and the events really don't please me. Props to Lee Min Ho's character, though. While he was pursuing Jan Di, he was pretty cute.

I've watched several dramas now, and none have been able to take the special spot that My Girl has! It is not first place, but it has a honorary spot :P The story would've received a 10, if it weren't because of the last episodes. It seemed as if the writers were trying to drag it out so it could have 16 episodes. The acting was good; it received an 8 from me because I felt that sometimes, the female antagonist exaggerated her expressions, and near the end, the female lead also exaggerated her crying scenes. I remember I even heard some wheezing once while she cried... overall, though, this is one of the best I've watched! I have this bad habit to get bored with dramas easily. Or when they start to get too dramatic, I also stop. However, this had me watching, laughing, and enjoying until the end! One of the best, I recommend it if you want a good laugh! The protagonist got out more than a couple of hearty laughs from me :)

The idea was great. I'm a huge fan of Jang Keun Suk and Moon Geun Young. And the first four episodes were more than amazing. After that, though, it started to slowly go downhill... I'll admit it, I gave this show two shots. The first time I stopped watching it because I sensed I'd feel too bad for the Director, the second male lead. The second time was because, when my friends started watching drama, this is the one they chose, and so I decided to finish it. I couldn't. The story began to lack and some events were downright dumb. From what my friends told me happened afterwards, I don't regret the fact that I didn't finish it. However, this drama was my first. And though I didn't quite enjoy it, if it weren't for this show, I would've never begun k-drama. Maybe in the future, since I was already drawn into manga and anime, and some had recommended k-drama, but still... I give props to Marry Me Mary for that.

This was really enjoyable. I didn't like some of the things in here, and it was sort of unrealistic. But I still liked it. The lead girl was also very likable, as 'dumb' as she can be portrayed as. I could really feel her character developing, and I admire her for her decisions at the end. I also liked the ending. It's not unexpected, but it's not your usual ending either. I recommend this movie if you want something moving, with both cute and funny moments.

Because of the title, I didn't really want to watch it at first. I'm also not such a HUGE fan of gender bender, but my friend insisted on watching this, plus it starred Jang Keun Suk (whom I'm a huge fan of) and so I decided to watch it. I don't regret this. It would've received a 10 if it weren't because Park Shin Hye was sort of dumb, and the events that led to the ending weren't so liked by me. Also, Yong Hwa's character... I admit it, at first I felt bad for him. But later on I was like "man up!", even if I'm a huge fan of CN Blue (Yong Hwa in general). Jang Keun Suk, Uee, and Hong Ki's characters were, for me, the highlight of the show. Sukkie was too darn cute, Hong Ki was too darn funny, and Uee, even though she's the antagonist, managed to stay on my good side throughout the entire show. The funny scenes are indeed hilarious, and those dances and imagination rounds the characters had were a plus. I also like the random English words the director of A.N. Jell randomly shouted out. This is not the first drama I watched. And even though I credit Full House and Marry Me Mary for opening the doors of the k-drama world, it's You're Beautiful that opened the doors to k-pop and my obsession.

Let me just start out by saying that the actor who played this version of Rui... Zhou Vic, right? He was sort of cute. Actually, really cute, and likable. This is one of the only versions in which I sided with Rui, because I absolutely hated him in the Korean version, and I liked both the leader and Rui in the Japanese version. Barbie Hsu's character, as much as a victim as she might've seemed like in here (something I hate), managed to get on my good side. But that's because of the actress. If I were to judge her by character, I'd give her a 0. However... the main guy, the leader of the F-4 (sorry, it's been more than a year since I watched this), I completely hated him. Crybaby and immature are the only words that can come up to me about him. I had to drop this because of some events that I completely hated, and now, laugh at (even if they're supposed to be dramatic). If you want to watch this, then fine... however, if you want the best version of Hana Yori Dango, I'd suggest the Japanese one. I had to drop it because I couldn't find the episodes, but I finally did, so I'm planning on re-watching it. The Korean drama is more... eh, I guess I'd still recommend the Korean drama over this version.

I was misinformed when I began watching 49 Days. I was told this was a romantic comedy with a piece of drama. But that's completely wrong. It has its sort of funny moments, but it's more on the romantic-drama side, tragedy for some. Those 5 episodes I watched were thoroughly enjoyed, though. Jung Il woo wasn't exactly on my good side at first, but he managed to make me love him. In fact, he's the reason why I want to watch Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, when there are some characteristics that at first had me like "no way am I gonna watch this". Back to the topic. I was really enjoying the drama, Jung Il Woo, and nearly all the characters (except two). Until I had this feeling, that told me this drama would be one of those crybaby ones. I accidentally read how it would end and I immediately stopped. I was really enjoying it but that ending... sucked. Overall, I wanted to give this drama a 7, but it is actually too good to give it that.

I dropped this a while back... and I'm pondering to give it another chance, but I'm still not sure. It's not exactly the kind of drama I like to watch. But Barbie Hsu and Zhou Vic sort of pushed me to check it out... more importantly, Zhou Vic. I didn't finish, so I'm not sure how it turned out. But the episodes I watched were interesting. And for a dramatic-events-hater like me, that's a very good compliment. Plus, I hear very good things about it.
