So, a part of Zhang Ning’s soul turned into the ml. However Zhang Ning is still alive. The fl says to the ml something like: “ I love you (ml) and you are nothing like him (Zhang Ning).” So how are these two characters (ml and Zhang Ning) suppose to reconcile?
Not gonna lie, I kinda prefer Zhang Ning to the ml. The ml is so bland but the chemistry with him and the fl is really good although lately, the focus hasn’t been on the romance but more on moving the plot along which is also fine.
I am so confused? So is the emperror good or evil? did the fl really betray him or did she drink another special water? and if the emperor is not evil how will they reconcile him with the ml?
Random: it would be nice to see them atleast ONCE change into pjs and remove the hair ornaments before going to bed, but, hey, I guess they have cultivated so much that they don’t have body odour
