That is not true. I checked his/her list and the commentator watched Hidden Love and gave it a 10. We are too quick to call people haters.

I haven’t watched the latest episodes (I’m at ep 15), but apparently something happens and it looks like the fl will think the ml tried to kill her because of what it seems or what others told her. From what I gathered reading the comments is that she tried to look for him for an explanation..is this correct? This is what I was hoping the fl in the Rise of Ning would do, that is, investigate/ look for the truth, especially if you believe yourself in love with that person.

I haven’t finished the drama. I would definitely recommend The Rebel Princess if you want to watch a high production drama with a mature cast. They don’t make them like this anymore. This one is a gem and the ml looks so manly/rugged. Not your typical thin flower boys with lots of filters.

One of the trailers seem so light. I also just noticed that all episodes are out. No sure if I want to watch a sad drama right now. I have had enough sad endings this year.

Wait Mr Plankton is sad? I thought it was a romantic comedy. I will start it tomorrow

I have watched or attempted all the xianxia you listed. The eternal love soundtrack was amazing. But nothing tops Love & Destiny. I just love the acting of the leads. Nini made me feel so much for her character and Chang Chen had so much screen presence- he truly became the God of War lol.

I couldn’t get into My Journey to you - I think it’s because I am not a fan of Esther and the ml looked like a simp lol, but then again, I didn’t give it a fair chance since I only watched one or two episodes.

I agree that Joy is life is great - I need to finish it though.

My fave wuxia is Sword Snow Stride also with the same lead in JOY and a lot of the supporting cast.

I dropped Princess Silver, I wasn’t a fan of the leads. I watched the long ballad but only the scenes involving the second leads (lol). Goodbye my princess was great. The song of glory was also good minus the last episode.

I haven’t watched the battle of Changsha but will add it to my list and I’ll try to give yanxi palace another try. A dream of Splendor was good too but I have to be honest, I skipped a lot!

Another gem for me is Love & Destiny!

With trailers like ep 19-20, how can they expect me to watch this show? I’ll wait until more eps are out because the wait to see what happens next would be unbearable.

I have watched TROTP and TSOM. I have also watched Love like the Galaxy, which I enjoyed, but it isn’t high budget and to the level of TRP. I couldn’t get into Story of Yanxi Palace.

The Longest Day in Chang’an & Nirvana in Fire are on my to watch list but I wanted more to watch a romance & high production drama. I started Rubi’s Royal Love in the Palace, but the emperor with his million concubines was getting on my nerve so I stopped it for now. lol

I came here to ask this exact question! I need a drama of this quality. Without these white/skin smoothing filters. Any recommendations??

Hmm which ep? I think the best wedding scene I’ve seen by far was the one in The Rebel Princess; the cinematography (no filters!!!), the music, the acting, the leads, very well done. It wasn’t even a happy wedding where the leads are in love, but it is still the best. The ml may have been half in love with the fl though because the way he stares at her during the wedding is swoonworthy, but she was too busy feeling sorry for herself to notice him lol

Another moral of the story: do not use others in your schemes, you might live to regret it. lol

When does the ml finds out what the fl is still poisoned and what happened to the sml’s father? I was so mad when he ate the flower /antidote!
