I remember peacock mentioning to her dad that the emperor (well acting emperor) was a catch due to his status, even though if he isn’t a God. I guess to mortals, they would view him as a god, but he isn’t. He is from the immortal realm and hasn’t reach God status, or else he would be in the God realm.

there are five realms
1- God realm - where the ml is from

three lower realms
The immortal realm - the emperor is from that realm. The heavenly palace is in the immortal realm
The demon realm
The underworld/ghost realm

then at #5 - mortal realm

The only God in the three realms is currently the ml. Even the phoenix isn’t a god. She’s a demi-God.

About the whole monster thing/plan, it is still a bit confusing to me. I think I’ll wait until these episodes aired lol, but thanks for your insight. Tbh, I don’t like mixing the plot of novel with the drama because, apparently, the drama isn’t following the novel religiously.

Tbh, I don’t care at all for this FL. I don’t know if it’s her acting but she hasn’t moved me to the point that I like her or feel sad for her. Sometimes, I feel like she’s the weakest character here. Her shocked expressions annoys me to no end. She isn’t a FL that enlists sympathy. They made her too stupid, too gullible with no sense of awareness. Evil people all around her yet shes just living her life day-by-day with no sense of the danger around her.

well, maybe when she comes back for her revenge we will see a new DJ emerged. I hope she won’t be like her dad, always showing her cards to her enemies.

Whenever I watch this mess of a show, my brain be playing Vitas 7th Element. It’s in another realm. Completely turn off to this utter nonsense.

Are you really asking how the writer’s gonna pull that off lol? SR stole a whole new born baby in a hospital, and replaced the baby with hers, and left with the stolen baby without getting caught, minutes after she had given birth. At this point, we are expected to just roll with it, and turn off our brains.

hi again :)….did you mean the immortal realm heavenly emperor because I don’t think he is a God, or from the God realm. it’s just weird that the heavenly place is in the immortal realm. Does the god realm also have a heavenly palace?

ah got it! Death Game may be the only drama that I didn’t skip at all in 2023 - I watched every second of it, it’s that good. But it’s a dark series.

hey hey hey. I finally watched ep 20, and it took me two days to finish that episode. Tbh, I really thought things would go down in ep 20. Color me shocked to find out we have to wait another 5 more episodes before she dies! this whole arc is dragging! So far, I am enjoying the drama but I don’t really feel that their love is epic! I still think the ml is a bit weak-willed. Couldn’t he have investigated before he punished her with his mighty sword.

If he always trusted her, he could’ve told her his plans! The number of times I’ve seen ml in cdrama, regardless of genre, make decisions for the fl in the name of « I’m trying to protect you ». SMH

Have you watched « Death’s Game »?

I made a mistake of starting a daily k-drama and I am now losing all my hair!! The show is absolutely insane, ridiculous and I want to slap myself silly for watching this mess. The mess is called « The Third Marriage »

I just finished the first 4 episodes of « Death’s Game », it’s a bit of a dark kdrama - like the Glory, but it was great so far. Waiting for the other 4 episodes to be release early January

Will likely be rewatching my fave xianxia of all time over the holidays: Love & Destiny
